Dear LUKISSIMO, I regret having to repeat this for the third time, but I see you continue to act as if you don’t understand. What you listen to or don’t listen to, what you buy or don’t buy, matters not at all to me. The whole issue arose from the fact that I read your disdainful judgments on an author whom, finally, you admit you don’t know, and from the fact that you have dared to judge the intelligence of others based on their tastes. Period. And don’t try again to turn the tables, as it is already burnt. If you had avoided spinning it and hiding behind your finger, and if you hadn’t tried to play the smart one to avoid answering, it would have ended right away. But I see you insist. "Anyway, let’s do it this way:" a big nothing. You do as you please, because what I do is none of your business. Regards.

@Iside: I partly agree, but when it comes to Decibel, I have an unequivocal total judgment: thumbs down, it's just out of the question for me, they are worth less than nothing, even if some of their catchy tunes are fun. It's true that the subsequent albums are more "structured," both by Vasco and Faust'O, but, as far as I can remember, I liked "Suicidio" more than the second one. And Rossi's first album showed a very personal attitude and a fresh approach to the subject compared to what was being heard at the time. Of course, we are in the realm of personal taste, and I have a bit of difficulty "managing" my memories and my way of feeling back then. A lifetime has passed, joking and laughing...

However, really a nice surprise these The Work. Thanks again, Macaco. Now I’m also looking for this, sooner or later I'll find it.

@Iside: I bought Vasco's first album back in the day. And it wasn't like it seemed new: it was something new.

I downloaded it. "Eh...yeah" I play it when I drive, in traffic, at full volume. I like it a lot. I can't manage the whole album, but that one, yes, because I’m old and it’s always nice to hear someone else who is still alive, despite everything. But the review is way too difficult; even Vasco wouldn’t be able to read it all...

@LUKISSIMO: I see you cling to the misspelled name to avoid answering. So, okay, I wrote it wrong. But you won’t get off that easily, considering you want to be clever. It’s not in my habit to talk about what I don’t know, and if I consider this Van De whatever and this album of his mediocre and quite uninteresting, both musically and lyrically, it’s because I know it, as well as two other previous albums. And I’ve read the lyrics' translation. Sure, I don’t know it "thoroughly." But it seems obvious: I delve into things I find worthy of such attention when I feel like it. And, secondly, I have the audacity to express an opinion even just by knowing three albums: this stems from the fact that in over 35 years of a very broad listening experience of music of all kinds, I recognize some credibility in myself. My question remains: you who dare to pontificate on others' intelligence based on "tastes" and express disdain for N. D'Angelo and those who listen to him, how many and which albums do you know (knowing means you’ve listened to them in full, attentively)? And among these, how many are from the last three? - As for the other names you mention, I can lump together that banal album by Fossati (for me probably his lowest point in the last 20 years) and that of the young man in judgment: nothing that can really attain any significant value, excluding the media interest raised by all the "new" (actually not) things like le Luci. And just to clarify: I know Fossati's entire discography and own most of it, purchased on vinyl, the first one I believe 30 years ago, and I have Brondi's albums. I repeat: be careful judging others' intelligence and defining it based on tastes. Take care, know-it-all.

Well, yes, I am a bit impulsive, indeed. And I wouldn't rule out Parkinson's in its broader sense, even if it's still undiagnosed. But that's how it is; what can you do? You must have noticed from my picture in the profile that age is no longer on my side, and perhaps that's why I "see" you, Miss. Actually, also because I'm a bit of an old satyr, but I believe that also shows in my gaze... Now I must leave you, I need to finish distilling some torcibudella and prepare dinner for George Jones, my opossum. My regards, Miss GEO&GEO.

@Monsignor Sphascia: I am faced with the arduous task of correcting you: alt-rock is, I believe I can gather from your own words, precisely the signal that suits this album, in anticipation of your arrival. Positioned between you and the album itself, to thwart any temptation of listening in. OrVuarPureAttia
