Well, I was in one of those stores, buying records. Many, too many... And some, once I got home and played them on the turntable, ended up in the back row, lingering a bit in the shadows, either not meeting my expectations or simply not matching my mood at the moment. And it was hard to come out of that cone of shadow, because in the meantime the piles of records to listen to had grown... With them, it was like that: I remember that enveloping sound spectrum (and that excess of delay that you describe so well) and I understand why. I must still have a couple of their records, this and ‘In The Breeze,’ and it’s been ages since I listened to them. I will do so in light of your page, and with the thirty years that have since blown away, almost like a breeze... - P.S. Midnight Music, in its brief existence, put together an interesting catalog; I just skimmed through it on Discogs and it was like being thrown back into those years - P.S. 2 Congratulations on your pages and for a rare "openness" among those grumpy progsters :)

Come on, there was a review by egebamyasi that I had never read... I wonder how they are, I wonder if they happen to come back this way. If so, a hello.
Terry Riley The Harp Of New Albion

Well, bringing Terry Riley back to DeB is always commendable; I love that gentleman. It struck me as somewhat strange to mention Gabriel and King Crimson as examples of the influences of Riley's minimalism, but, after all, even if a bit convoluted, the comparisons stand. Since I didn't have this record, even though I listened to it when it came out, reading the review made me want to seek it out, and I stumbled upon a true cornucopia, the entire discography from 1963 to 2012: EliteFreak.net :: Conectarse Terry Riley - Collection - 1963-2012 - IsraBox and/or link rotto Thanks to Chiccotana, then.

If you appreciate these musical borderlands, I recommend, in case you're not familiar with it, a 2002 album by Spring Heel Jack, "AMassed." It's definitely another thing, but I'm almost certain you'll enjoy it. Download SPRING HEEL JACK – Amassed (2002).rar from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way

Eh, I don't know if I've ever listened to this, and I can't even find a link... instead, here's a nice little bundle of his albums in a convenient zip: squarepusher.zip | Ulož.to

But yes, it's me who sometimes doesn't mind my own business. Rather, with age I've developed the syndrome of the old man watching construction sites. Bye.

Funny, I just saw it yesterday, after having left it buried among so many others to watch... And what I read is practically what I thought in the end; in short, the review seems spot on to me.

I like the creative use of commas you employ: do you have a method, or do you scatter them, wherever they may fall?
