ultranatalizio meant that seeing it during or after the Christmas lunch is a treat, especially if the lunch coincides with the crew's lunch for the film (whatever). As for the movies, you're just a poor fool who doesn't understand beauty; anyway, if you don't appreciate Bergman, there's nothing I can do about it (by the way, Luci d'inverno was even the director's favorite), unfortunately, good taste can't be taught. There you go. Take that.

In my opinion, you underestimate the second one. I might prefer Scott's by a narrow margin, but Cameron's (undeniably commercial) one is also extraordinary.

it wasn't such a direct comparison; I would have made that with Carpenter's thing, perhaps, or with the invasion of the body snatchers. It was a comparison of value. Then, for Tarkovsky, and especially for Stalker, I have a weakness, but it is undeniable that it is incredibly heavy. If you don't feel the charm of the images, the atmosphere, and the dialogues, I believe that dozing off is inevitable (with Andrei Rublev, even though I adore Tarkovsky, I can't manage it either).

The true novelty of the film is also a terrifying tension that is practically unattainable. For me, alongside 2001 and Stalker, it's the greatest science fiction film of all time.

Slim, but instead of being sarcastic, why don't you just say what you think? For me, Zelig is far from a masterpiece. I’m citing forums where there are not only fanatics of the genre, but also people who know perfectly well films like The Innocents or Kwaidan (which Poletti must know perfectly, right Poletti?) or the fanatics, and still recognize great value in The Blair Witch Project. The fact is whether you have your nose in the air or not.
