I don’t know, Caz, of course the Neo punk of Greed Day, Offspring, Blink (produced by the guy who was behind Drive Like Jehu, I get chills just thinking about it) is, to put it mildly, steaming diarrhea, but bands like Minutemen, Gun Club, CCCP (let's go), Fugazi (call them what you want, we’re there) are not so juvenile. I miss the Naked, I will get them (just like I got Mr. Bungle) even though I really like Zorn (but I prefer Tim Berne, I’m showing off).

Maybe it's because yesterday Caz told me I was good, that I felt this urge for redemption. I can't stand them, and I even have extra-musical reasons to detest them. Vertigo is one of the worst, but really worst, songs of the last 10 years. If my most hated Italian song is undoubtedly "i bambini fanno oh," this is its worthy international rival. An album that contains this song (with that stupid video, by the way) I wouldn't buy even under torture.
