Are you talking to me? But who are you?

It's funny this thing about synthetic songs. I think of the Minutemen, even though this must be a slightly different punk (and even more synthetic, it seems). Odra, I told you that you were a connoisseur: I also have a huge crush on Memento.

Indeed, Rickie Lee is the artist whose sound is closest. I agree that Tori Amos is the true, true main heir.

Wow. This music just doesn't hit the same unless you have a giant spoiler on the car. Recommended are the flyer and the mini skirts, plus some Momo accessories to complete the uplifting picture. Oh, and don't forget to stick your arm out the window, it's mandatory even in January.
Lou Reed Metal Machine Music

The essence of the interview is that Bangs is mocking Reed, and the crux of the interview is "you tried to pull one over on us Lou, come on, we didn’t take it to heart..."

Enè, the liquid soap perdiana, I always tell you, the liquid soap! well done well done well done, this time I can't find a flaw. Actually, yes, I really like whiskey :) ahem, don’t think I’ve been drinking from the nickname above…

Yes, it's just that for me, coming from the performances of L'abbattimento dello Zeppelin, Settembre nero, and Giro giro tondi, seeing him grappling with the classics of ridemblus was jarring, just as I'm thrown off when I hear closed fists with the typical light singing from the sixties ("il sole tiepido sei tiù, awmmorey", how embarrassing :D). What was the term he used? A sort of Tom Jones, right?

But I'm also wicked, I who am sweet as diabetes! I swear I didn't know about your charm. :D You'll have to educate me on Battiato as well as on Battisti, I have little to offer...

Battiato, Consoli, I wouldn't forget the Marlene Kuntz (even more than Consoli). (read my recent comment on "ho ucciso paranoia," regarding evocative words (I was in the mood for jokes). I completely agree that "if the subject of the debate is cultured, it pairs well with an elaborate language," but a musical piece can, in many cases, be even more cultured and mature if it doesn't fall into the trap of self-satisfied dissertation, eh.
