Thank you, darling.

Is it MUCH more intimate than Black heart? Even more than 2? And what is it? I absolutely have to listen to it. As soon as I solve the long-standing issue of excess bytes, I know what to do :)

But it seems I'm not the only one who thinks this way. And damn the teacher, a 4 is a big grade. I’m thinking of Pappalardo right now. A 4 doesn’t mean: “nice, but since I’m a bit snobbish I won’t give it the highest score and I’ll allow myself to criticize the great Waits,” a 4 means “wow, this is a mega great record, but despite the greatness of the artist, I have to remember for honesty’s sake that there are albums like Rain Dogs that I liked more and seem superior to me, and there are other singer-songwriter albums that I find more beautiful.” Anyway guys, from a 5 easy, I don’t want to question your tastes, but with this campaign “give a 5 too,” you seem like either followers of the critic Mollica Vincenzo and/or Italy’s elder Jovanotto. Ghimmi faiv, olrait.

Massi, I really like it a lot but for me, a 5 is Raindog, Swordfishtromones, and maybe another one. But hasn't this discussion about numbers really run its course? Because I'm starting to somatize, you know. :)

Great review and an enticing proposal indeed. When I heard Mark Linkous, I thought "who?", but when Jenkins' name came up, everything became extremely interesting for me. By the way, wasn't Pall supposed to be Palle? Did you censor like the Rai in the '60s that didn’t broadcast Benfica matches?

Well, I only know Barcelona, but I couldn't say if that song or my motorcycle by Iovanotti is cooler. Quite a fight, huh? :)

Hey superintruder, you are extraordinarily efficient. But was it you, disguised as about thirty furious people, who gave Borghezio a hard time?

I’m utterly in love with "Stolen Car," which is one of the most beautiful ballads I know. The review is lovely too. I really like Springsteen's slow songs; I’m less fond of the rockier tracks because I prefer a singing style that’s less "emo," more straightforward. It's just my opinion, you know! ;) I’ll give the album another listen; I remember it being very beautiful.
Francesco Guccini Stanze di vita quotidiana

If it didn't have those terrible arrangements thanks to that little guy Pierfarri, it would be one of the most beautiful records ever released in Italy. Even so, it remains one of his best, along with Via Paolo Fabbri (and for me superior to Radici), and definitely the hardest, saddest, and most existential. The tracks are more beautiful than the last, and well, if it wasn't clear, that's the Guccini album I feel most connected to. I agree on everything.
