Yes, it has little to do with traditional jazz, but beyond labels, which are very limiting concepts, I believe it is a fantastic album. Jazz, jazz-rock, or whatever it is, it’s a great album. Its merits are clearly not solely his, given the lineup of the record, just like with any of Miles' groups. Moreover, my favorite tracks aren't even his, but are by Shorter and Zawinul, yet I care little about that.

I absolutely disagree about Miles, but that's not a problem. Then there's Gillespie; as little as I know about the trumpet, I know he ended up doing some pretty silly things. Davis has always changed and sought new solutions, with less inspired work but also stratospheric peaks. Bitches Brew is indeed the best-selling album in the history of jazz, but to say, as has been said, that it was a commercial record gives it the right to win the award for the most insane criticism of the 20th century. Anyway, it seems to me that you're definitely leaning towards more traditional jazz...

Insert coin is right thirty times, on the votes. Emanuele, I answered you. Like Caz, I also hope for some reviews. I only know a few of those names well, so I’ll try to find out a bit more.

Sorry... TristRam;). I know what he wrote in the review of Giambersio because I intervened. The simple passionate... I’m much more interested in the fact that he brought up names of musicians I didn’t know, rather than that he doesn’t like Metheny, although I would like to know why. By the way; the private message?

Tristam, in my opinion, everyone has the right to voice their opinion here and honestly, especially if they are knowledgeable. Let's add IMHO in front of every message; it seems to help. And what does it matter if someone doesn't like an album, come on.

Here are the samples, specially put together for you. Mr. Blast off is a double; I thought I hadn't sent it, but...

Here’s a group that disgusts me. I don’t vote because I’ve never criticized an album without having listened to it first, but just the title of the album is telling me that I'm right on the mark.

one of the most violent albums ever, but the cover says a lot about the fact that these gentlemen are just playing around. However, it is incredibly fun, no doubt about it. Between one frenzied scream and the next, there are also very original things (the first that comes to mind is the tank-like rhythm of Dead Joe). I wouldn't know how to choose the most mind-blowing "song," as Blast off, Dead Joe, and Big Jesus Trashcan are always hilarious in how monstrous and extreme they are. For me, the real Cave is this, not the one with the piano ballads.
