I return after having listened to it for a while. At first, it amused me, but after a while, it really tired me out. Max Collini is good and writes well, but the album is a bit one-dimensional and musically says little to me. However, Tatranki is a nice piece.

...30 sorry, as you said on Repubblica. The competitors weren’t exactly masterpieces.

Oops, mp3, a blessing and a curse. See, I was convinced that the cover of the clocks was made of "material for three executors." I was confused because somewhere on the net it was mistakenly attributed to it. And that's the album I have in full. Definitely avant-garde, it has nothing to do with jazz-rock and it's an interesting curiosity, even though it's certainly not a fundamental record. I'm much more interested in what you have; I don't know if you're also allergic to peer-to-peer like Nob, who seems to be among the fetishists of metallic or vinyl objects and repudiates technology. Get with the times, Mr. Nobody, get with the times ;)

That was a nice straight reference from Symbad about Lingomania; I had never heard of them before, but Roberto Gatto is a guarantee, a truly extraordinary musician. Bring out the names of Italian jazz rock, don’t be shy, dear matusa (oops, I meant... experts). Antonio, I’m definitely interested in the Dedalus; I hope to have something in return, but a doubt has come to me: I have the experimental one (the one with the cover featuring clocks instead of faces) and part of the previous one from '73 (where "Brilla" is, to be clear), but the titles aren’t particularly special or esoteric… is there perhaps one even earlier?
For Nob (I'll join the others, at this point you have to use it as a nickname), Picchio dal pozzo sound fresh even today (they recently released an album of which I only know a bit, and that bit isn’t exactly essential), and just for this, these Italian Hatfields are worth a listen. I am a bit biased, though; ask Enea, who will balance my enthusiasm. If you’re interested, you know you just have to raise your hand.

Oh, we wrote together... I have the Dedalus in mp3 (great invention), I can’t tell you if they’ve been reprinted, although it seems to me that "materiale per tre esecutori e nastro," which you seem to know very well (but I imagined), has been revived. I almost forgot, I have three of Napoli centrale, and at least "Napoli centrale" and "Mattanza" are indispensable for me.

Yes, nobody, I didn't want to have a "competition," I just think it's reductive and a bit unfair to such valid groups to say that the scene ended there. Perigeo were the first, and they sparked jazz-rock, but Napoli Centrale, for me, has nothing to envy them; they're a very refined group. They may not have invented anything, but I prefer them because of that funky vibe. Also, why do you say "to gather everything in one single bunch"? I mentioned groups strictly of that genre, even though Dedalus later moved to avant-garde (like Area, after all), and Picchio dal Pozzo and Arti e Mestieri are more Canterbury-like. It's always about jazz-rock; on one side, those in the Miles and Weather Report style, and on the other, those in the Mahavishnu or Soft Machine and family style. Regarding Aktuala... can you pass them to me? ;D

In my opinion, they weren't just minor groups. Besides the ones you mentioned (I've been searching for the agorà for ages), there were, although it’s true they came later, the incredible Napoli Centrale (which I prefer), there were also the Dedalus, whom I still know little about but what I've heard I really liked, complete with a guitarist like McLaughlin, there were the Arti e mestieri (thanks Caz), there were the Picchio dal pozzo (even if they are closer to Hatfield and National Health). In short, it wasn't all Area and Perigeo...

Hey nobody, the perigeo are not at all unique in Italy for doing those things, I’ll tell you that there are groups I like more in jazz-rock, even though they are really good.
