Round midnight? Good to know, noted. Well Antò, now it's your turn to talk about your love for McLaughlin :)

Poletti, I think you prefer insults to indifference. If it were up to me, I would have preferred this page to remain blank.

As far as I'm concerned, The End is an absolute masterpiece, and I really like many of their tracks. I'm a big fan of Manzarek, and his music seems anything but an "awful little organ from a beat group in a youth camp." Still, I liked it, and I believe there’s some truth in what you’re saying. The Doors were a great band, but Morrison's coolness certainly played a role in the band's perception. I also don't love the cursed artist poses, and some of their songs seem overrated to me. But to say they haven't influenced anyone, come on...

When one takes flutes for flasks, it’s fair to say it: about this album, I only know Mediterranean Sundance (the studio version, mind you), the album by the trio I know is the one with the names of the three stacked on the cover, in addition to the live video of a concert I've long forgotten. So everything I said is worth a cippalippa. Pardon. That said, @Antonio about McLaughlin: what to say? One of my absolute favorite guitarists, one who plays on Bitches Brew, In a Silent Way, the early Mahavishnu records, with Tony Williams, with Carla Bley, is a great. Perhaps the only guitarist who can make sense of such speed, and one of the most visceral guitarists ever. Meet of the Spirits is one of the greatest solos of all time, period.

Nice open, you've been meaning to do this for a while if I remember correctly. I'm still stuck on the third homonymous one, but this definitely needs to be added to my (very long) list of upcoming listens.

"YOU'RE A HUGE PIECE OF SH*T. But do they offer courses to be such an idiot like you???": No, I'm self-taught. Anyway, please reconsider your use of the letter "C," do it for our poor Italian language.

But I told you, Jim, I didn't love it too much when I listened to it many years ago, but the negative impression is mostly reinforced by the short memory of the live show where they put on a really gratuitous little spectacle, complete with winks (and pretty boring, really G3 level of that kind). In jazz, there's almost always a lot of technique, but I didn't particularly like it here. Guys, what can I do if I prefer something else? :D The fact remains that a lot of time has passed and I've changed my mind on many things, maybe I'll give it a spin one of these days.
