very beautiful album, like all of Germano's production. In fact, after Geek the girl and before Moon palace, it’s the one I like the most. I agree that the best are the ones for solo piano, Wood floor and especially Guillotine love are great pieces.

But is it true that this Antonius rex is the father of Rexanthony?

A masterpiece. Stunning Janitor of Lunacy and Afraid, but The Falconer is absolutely extraordinary.

Pretà, don't get me wrong, I like Thomas and I know he has a great little head on his shoulders, even if he is snobbish and has a difficult personality. But as far as I know, he himself has declared that he is absolutely tone-deaf and completely unable to reproduce a melody, and that his way of singing depends precisely on that. Sure, maybe he exaggerates, because then he has also come up with melodic pieces like Horses, but you get my point.

Really a beautiful group. Sooner or later I will hear this too. Wonderful review Trella :)

"It's just like an academic exercise," before you contest the double negation.

Just imagine, of course you can say that you don't like it, but avoid elaborating theories and judgments about things you clearly don't know. "Tim Buckley was never that great," "the only great album by Buckley is Blue Afternoon," "Starsailor is somewhere between useless and déjà vu"... come on, what are you talking about? If you had said "I don't like it," or better yet "I've only heard a couple of things but for some reason it bothers me," nobody would have said anything. But if you present your arguments as if, after some deeply felt listens, you've come into possession of some profound truth, while also saying nonsense, you have to accept that someone will respond, right? Ppssss: look, I wrote a bit too much (not too much anymore), but I did it on purpose, I allowed myself a little leeway. After all, your "study your Italian again" isn't exactly from the Accademia della Crusca, is it?

oh what a surprise! :) Great review for a great album. And Trell's comment is in itself a review: perfect music for dozing off, especially Bismillahi 'rrahman 'rrahim. The link to Fussli is lovely too. All very nice.
Paco de Lucía, Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin Guitar Trio

Oh well, I have something like that too, like the Aranjuez concerto with him, but I was talking about his own material. Technically, among the three, I don’t really see a ranking based on technique, and honestly, I couldn’t care less. Three monsters, each with different characteristics. As for improvisation, by the way, McLaughlin literally invented a way of playing, and he has created beautiful things. I wouldn’t rush to judgment, in short :)

What albums by De Lucia are worth it, Squalo? I know very little about him.
