Der Blutharsch Time Is Thee Enemy!

Sorry Nick, I don’t know the group/artist and maybe I’m missing something because of that, but it doesn’t seem to me that mementomori is making such an unacceptable argument: after all, you can appreciate Céline or Rimbaud despite their ideas. Or am I wrong?

Thank you, Luisa, but I love the groove and I really enjoy fusion!

Well... the story of the "king of slap" intrigued me and I downloaded a best of to give it a listen. Well, on first pass I should say the classic phrases like "it's not for me," or avoid overly harsh judgments but... damn, it's terrible! Wow, what a beatdown, what is this, the soundtrack of a holiday village?

because if I have to say it without beating around the bush, a talk to the wind for example strikes me as both too perfect and a bit bland, and even somewhat cloying.

I can say that I endorse Tamax's intervention (I hope Antonio won't hold it against me)? It's an extremely important album, and Fripp's class is beyond question, but (and I'm saying this without any prejudice, considering I wore out this album back in the day) over time the flaws become apparent, such as a certain aestheticism, especially in the softer tracks like "Talk to the Wind" or the title track. These days, I would gladly listen to only "21st Century Schizoid Man."

Gianco, I’m happy to share my thoughts since this is a genre I really love (maybe you already know many of these): Morphine might interest you quite a bit; in fact, the first album I’d recommend for you to start with is "Cure for Pain," which is excellent, a beautiful album. The same goes for "The Ponzi Scheme" by Firewater, "Sackcloth & Ashes" by Sixteen Horsepower, something from Gun Club if you also appreciate Cave’s wilder records. If you like Cave to the fullest (very much in line with "Good Son"), there's also the album by Marianne Faithfull, which I think is entirely composed by Cave (download "Crazy Love" and you’ll see what I mean). And then there are Black Heart Procession, Crime & the City Solution, Mark Lanegan... in Italy, Capossela if you like Waits. Explore a bit among these names!

Lord, do you like the Minutemen?! Oh my god, what happened? Is the world ending? Anyway, if you like them, there are several other similar groups that might interest you.
Biosphere Cirque

great substrata disc, microgravity I still have to feel it. This waits for now, but Biosphere and its music from the Arctic circle deserve

of who knows where the time goes I prefer, unlike Bertoncello, the version with the Strawbs, which is less arranged and less polished but is beautiful. Great voice Sandy Danny
Neil Young On the Beach
Voto:
a beautiful album, my god what is ambulance blues. And then on the cover there's all Young.
