Progress and renewal, Logic, from what I may have learned (and believe me, I am not "green") often remain just beautiful words or, at best, they are long, difficult, and complex processes; even among artists, it often happens (incredible!) that cases of jealousy, ego trips, envies, and personal obsessions arise, which prevent potential "meetings" from occurring, failing to produce the "effects" that on paper should appear quite natural or "logical." The so-called "Chemistry" (as the Anglophones call it) between virtually similar or close artists does not always work.

.....and let’s not forget my cousin Ivan, who was the greatest keyboardist in the world! His solo in a piece that I can’t remember the title of, but which he played on March 14th, '76 (at 7:10 PM, if I recall correctly) changed my life. From that day on, the Hammond organ and the Minimoog have never been the same for me... . Ah, then there’s the brother of a friend of mine (who, however, had an organ as old as the hills). One day he played for me the complete works of Jimmy Smith and Richard Clayderman all afternoon...... Exceptional!!!!! In the end, I collapsed on the floor saying to myself: "Emerson, Wakeman, Banks, Wright....???!!! Ah ah ah ah ......" :))))))))))

@Dylan: you are truly magnanimous; it’s been ages since anyone called me "boy"; perhaps because that time has really passed?! Anyway, even if caz has disdainfully sent off your young hens, I, being less picky, would be more open to the idea… Please clarify the timing and places and any potential costs because there’s never enough sex. Thanks in advance; I await your response with hope. :)

@Logic Probe: the reasoning, in itself, makes sense and is well thought out and also of sound and broad vision. The only point I could make is that these words and intentions should ideally come from Sylvian himself, don’t you think? That said, the idea of a creative scenario of interpersonal feedback on the human-artistic level between masters and disciples, I repeat, would be more than desirable. It all boils down to making it a reality!

I believe I have a fairly deep understanding of Ian Anderson's group to express an opinion on its nearly forty years of work. It is true, as Viva Lì suggests, that we are far from the glories of the Tull of the '70s and that the judgment might seem disproportionate in terms of ratings. But it is also true that precisely because of and during its decades-long "run", the group and Anderson have managed to express moments of style, inspiration, and expression that are very different from one another. (For example, just compare... let's say "Benefit" to "Under Wraps".) It's not that one is objectively worse or better than the other (tastes aside, of course); they're simply different things born in perhaps very distant moments from each other. It's evident that they may not be to everyone's liking or acceptable, but attacking a work like this seems to me to be ungrateful. "A" may not be a masterpiece, but it is a respectable album that still retains some beautiful moments. For those who know how to appreciate it.
