in fact it was essentially an age-based comparison, I brought them together just because of the word "contemporaries." I also found Exciter to be inferior to the others, perhaps a bit uncertain, mannerist, bland. Nonetheless, it seemed to me a decent work with interesting insights, especially in the songs sung by Martin Gore or, for example, Freelove. Not bad Counterfeit by Martin Gore, tasty, but be prepared to find many flaws in it. The ideal album to borrow... come by my place later, we'll talk about it, and I'll make you a copy! :-))

Falling in love is a must with albums like Aguaplano. And with perfect descriptions of such a work of art.

What can I say? 1. I had already sent it (like the previous one... and like the next one!) when I realized it was too long, my biggest fault 2. the Soc brawl, for which of the many reasons should it come? (there are too many) 3. the review is dedicated to Alexander77, who urged me to write a pseudo-trash review of Nobody Else: not finding it, I opted for this instead, I hope he will appreciate it anyway, at least the effort 4. you see the downside of having a bit of free time? I relaxed and indulged myself, even though I must say it was a lot of fun, and I’m fond of the artist... anyway I've already gone back under the press of my earthly duties, so you don’t have to worry, if I write again I’ll be as brief as Perugina kisses! 1 kiss, and I'm sorry.

If it’s not the best album since Violator, it comes pretty close. And this is coming from someone who has adored SOF&D and Ultra, and who didn’t mind the much-maligned Exciter. Almost a summary of 15 wonderfully enjoyable years of great quality. And they have aged better than all their contemporaries, from U2 to Simple Minds to The Cure (to Duran, but let’s not shoot at the Red Cross). Starting off at a disadvantage, too often underestimated, splendidly matured. 4 for the album, enhanced to 5 for the pleasant reaffirmation.

I'm sorry, I'll try to be more concise in the future! It's just that sometimes I feel the need to introduce and acclimate the reader to the right atmosphere and context. I'll make it right! Thank you anyway, Massimo and Kosmo, for your support.

From today begins the ringo-week, that is, the saga of those who have a week of unusual free time and decide to dedicate some fooling around to their beloved debaserioti. I’ve tried to do a review a day or thereabouts, and then don’t worry, I’ll fade away. One last note: for an adequate reading experience, I recommend that if you have Bookends on hand, you read the review while listening to "America" and then "Overs" (tracks 3 and 4 of the album, respectively). Bye!

Thank you. I fundamentally think like you. Irrationality, anomaly, absurdity, they are frightening. Because they are new, unusual, inexplicable. But it's what we are, what ordinary life tries to bury and make bitter. But there are those who don’t give up, there are those who offer us the keys to purer shores, yet sometimes we lack the glasses to decipher, to understand. Thank you.

Alexander, I’ll repay you, maybe with a vinyl copy of the debut by the Five, if only I could find it with the Japanese bonus tracks. I like Francis too. Vic and Matteo are hilarious, but they’re becoming more and more like caviar, rare and exquisite. Oh, I wanted to compliment you for your contribution to the review of Necro di caz. I happened to read it, and you don’t talk nonsense. You were the only one to reasonably assert that necro makes you vomit. Good man!
