Vinicio Capossela Canzoni a Manovella

The impression: I find it captivating, at times dark, reflections distorted by time, by warmth (not just of the doroghe), and by space, but I am still reading it and I surely haven’t processed it yet. For a more precise and focused opinion, you'll have to wait. The above post still stands: As a writer, I like him. Is that enough for you?

Listen, I’ve already answered the questions, re-read the posts, what do you want me to say? What do you want, a review of the book? A summary? "But we, who abandon ourselves like this, in dark trains, on glittering streets, who let ourselves be swallowed by the night, what do we hope for, what do we raise and what do we bring down?" Is that enough for you? Read the posts, what do you want me to repeat, Mr. Aggressive? And don’t get mad if people defend themselves; I didn’t ask for this hassle. And yes, it’s fun for me, I’m part of the tiè club! ariTiè.

So you're all very experienced, what do you want me to say bleah? The real experts are those who give 1 star to a beautiful but unpopular record and 10 stars to the one funded by the major. What can you do? Anyway, the piano bar style is a style, just like dark, metal, rock, pop, symphonic, etc., but to claim that Vasco Rossi and the Rolling Stones are the same is a stretch. Conte is ironic and refined, even in music, while Capossela is sarcastic and has a gypsy vibe; in certain aspects, he reminds me of Kusturica, not Conte. And you can express yourself differently; you attacked, I defended myself, and evidently, class is not water. Bye bleah, by the way: HERE YOU GO.

Dear Bleah, aside from the fact that "centrano" written this way means nothing, you should actually write "c'entrano" from "ci entrano," but if you believe you are a great expert on Conte and Capossela and that only you can distinguish one style from another, go ahead. The only thing I really need to understand are the insults, but perhaps when someone has nothing to say, they are the only way to express some sort of thought... Anyway, since you know everything and better than the rest, feel free to stay in your anonymous and bland little broth.

Well, Tano seems a bit narrow-minded if he thinks like that. A nice "take that" for him too.

Listen, bleah, the piano bar sound is a style; to say they're the same... if you found some similarities in a song, it still seems to me that your ignorance on the subject is close to a 1 + a couple of you know what, well justified in musical matters.
bleah: TIE'!!!

And then excuse me, but what does Capossela have to do with Paolo Conte? As a comparison, it seems a bit far-fetched. I know Conte well and, even though he’s not my style, some of his lyrics are truly phenomenal, but Capossela shares with him only the Italian language. Conte is ironic, Capossela is sarcastic. What’s the connection, excuse me Tano?

In short, you know this Tano well... but it doesn’t seem to me that Capossela is a singer particularly liked by the left. At his concerts, it didn’t seem like there were any major figures representing the left rather than the right; in my opinion, there were just people. And then, what a silly thing to divide music into left and right... music is music, and it can be liked or not liked; what sense does it make to politicize it?
