It's fine to be fake, but also pathetic...XD

Nothing to say... perfect... however, I'm not a huge fan of Vic. I like him a lot, but I don't see the great artist that many would like to portray him as, and in this, I find him to be more honest, as he has basically just kept playing and composing without worrying about anything else. I have the usual (disgusting) feeling that (unintentionally) they will turn him into yet another misunderstood "genius," or rather one understood in hindsight, of music.

I would say it's a bit of your business (but a little bit mine too...)!! I told you he was talented...unbelievers! And he also plays the guitar quite well...Well done Cor...great review...actually, hearing it here where the reference to Chris is much more present, it's obvious!

And what do you care about my vote?! :) Usually, I don't vote because votes don't mean a thing to me; since I'm moody, sometimes I toss them in... that's it. I generally like the way you write, but this time I liked it less because of the content... you described the style perfectly in your comment, maybe even better than you did in the review... it's the content of the book that feels a bit thrown together; in my opinion, it deserved a bit more elaboration... but without any polemic, it's just my opinion. Read the ceneri di Angela... it's really worth it...

Sorry... I didn't like it. You talk about this book as if it were a style exercise. And it isn't. This is the perspective of a young Irishman on the new world, and you won't find a testimony of this caliber anywhere else. Angela's Ashes (a masterpiece, at least for me...) is the most beautiful portrait of Catholic and depressed Ireland of the 1930s, the one that came after the civil war, after Michael Collins and the birth of the Irish Free State...

Imagine it as a blank page on which to discuss something... a bit like a square of toilet paper on which you write your thoughts!
