Well done, you beat me to it! So: they are something terrifying, there are really very few bands with a groove similar to theirs out there. Chino in a state of grace, sang incredibly well all the tracks except perhaps Passengers (Maynard has a completely different vocal tone, and maybe fatigue was starting to set in). The real phenomenon of the group, along with Abe, an exceptionally unique drummer, outside the usual double bass pattern... the live performance of some tracks is even superior to the studio version!
Final note: Chino wandering around while the Linea 77 perform, stops, smiles, signs autographs, and endures everything (women and men groping him and much more) with a smile on his lips!
Awesome! Long live the taco eaters!

To me, those who tell others to wake up always seem to be the least awake… and I say this without offense, Trel… can you explain to me why I or anyone else should care that the drummer played naked? What a lovely sight… then can you explain what the Chinese have to do with Capovilla and the Theatre? And while you’re at it, can you explain what you mean by historical compromise (still without offense, I’m almost sure your answer will bring a smile to my face and a check to Capovilla!)!

@teen: if I find the time, I'll write up the concert report, so you can tell me...I wouldn't want to take up a page that talks about the theater with a discussion that's out of place. Anyway, I think the same: if you had seen them yesterday, you would have suggested to 3/4 of the bands you know to go pick bananas from the mountain! ;)

I would have gladly watched them (despite the comments from appe and geb, which I agree with) especially to see the legendary blechy tuft... but after seeing the Deftones, they can calmly go pick bananas in the mountains!
