Ok. Serious comment. The review is deeply felt, and like all "felt" things, it’s a pleasure to read. I’m sure your interpretations come very close to the idea of the album they had in mind, especially Chino (I’ve already mentioned Stephen... what he says is very interesting, especially regarding the sometimes difficult coexistence of different ideas, and the Defs are practically a chaos from this perspective, both genetically and in terms of musical influences).

Well done. Great review, heartfelt and detailed. I've heard scattered pieces from him, but I need to delve deeper; I admit he didn’t impress me at the moment. If you don't know him, try Ben Howard; I'm a huge fan of his.

A brief thought: "We produced a great album with John Corabi, and we were sure it would sell millions of copies and make a bigger splash than Dr. Feelgood. We would have shown that, without a frontman thrashing about, we could play heavier rock than ever. We would do what we wanted because after all, we were Mötley Crüe. Or not?"

By the way, I caught Kory one year at the God's with an unlikely glam band whose name I don't remember, but they got pelted with a ton of bottles by the friendly medallion audience...

Ah, by the way, I admit my mistake: troll a kilometer away. Psychedelic associated with "Sweet Child" or synthesizers linked to the band in question... terrible fake. I prefer Delo, and that says it all...

I don't agree with anything. Aside from the synthesizer joke, the 80s gave so much to music; you just have to know them. And this album is a disco: but never mind, it's all the rage to throw mud on anything that becomes mainstream. The five in question certainly represent useless caricatures nowadays, but this album has so much quality that it overflows, regardless of the usual radical shit...
