Come on, I was being ironic about the statement, I thought it was clear, and there was no trace of insult... I don't know, I'm still convinced that 1994 is a great year... to argue, I would have to start talking about every single album! Moreover, I really don’t make it a matter of genre, I couldn't care less about labels! One note: SUPerunknown is only seen as uninnovative by those who don't understand musical harmony (it’s not an insult, mind you...); the melodic ideas of the two guitars (some call them Eastern-influenced but that’s reductive) are enormous, especially considering the rhythmic context and the genre in question!

No, come on, joking aside, Pixies, that '94 is a load of nonsense! It may not have been the best year of the '90s, but for me, AIC, Soundgarden, and Kyuss are enough to make it unique!!!

If we give 4 to Korn (who don’t even drive me crazy), they’ll at most get -4!!!

1994:
SOUNDGARDEN - Superunknown
PORTISHEAD - Dummy
NINE INCH NAILS - The Downward Spiral
low - I Could Live In Hope
Lisa Germano - Geek the Girl
Beck - Mellow Gold
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Pavement - Crooked rain, crooked rain
Bark psychosis - Hex
Motorpsycho - Timothy's monster
Slint - ep
dEUS - Worst case scenario
Morphine - Cure for pain
A few landmark records??????? You gonna shoot more nonsense, buddy? This goes straight into the pearls of the century on Debaser, alongside sophisticated Britpop, Load (by Metallica) inspired by Oasis, Frusciante better than Vai, Queen as the cornerstone of heavy metal, Queen more famous than the Beatles, the Black Album inspired by Back in Black!!!! LET'S KEEP THOSE PEARLS COMING!

Well, I think it's a really nice album... they maintain their style and update or evolve it... always better than those idiots who for 25 years of career keep repeating the same 4 nonsense... after all, there are always the fools who follow them!

No, we really don't agree: 1) Many of the tracks from the two albums you mentioned date back even before Piper! 2) During the final arrangement and recording phase, he was so estranged at times that it forced Gilmour and Waters to replace him, both at one stage and another! The two were criticized for this (according to many, they ruined Barrett's work) and for other reasons (making a man in that state record his mental instability was, according to some, cruel)! Happy now? Now stop with the nonsense! I’m waiting for your arguments!

Country????Progressive?????Just one clarification! The album was born as an attempt to sound like CORROSION OF CONFORMITY and the result is uneven (and doesn't even sound like COC at all)! While reload is trash (leftovers from this)! At least you don't go around claiming that the album is inspired by Oasis like someone else!!!!

Nick, how many damn fakes do you have? I had reached four with that idiot Woodcock, and now there's even Gustavolamazza?!
@vitalogy: READ instead of shooting bullshit! Just for the record, Barrett was pushed aside because he was literally no longer present, while during the composition of Piper, at least he could still compose, something he was practically no longer able to do! I simply answered your stupid question about Adler's dismissal... funny enough, you still haven't explained to me what was so exceptional about it?! Last note: I'll stop with the Arctic Monkeys when you explain, or admit the nonsense, and while you’re at it, admit the one about the Black Album so we can all have a good laugh!

But then I didn't get it, what the hell is so amazing about Adler? Are you serious or is it me not getting it? This is almost worse than the bullshit about the black album being inspired by Back in Black!!! HUGE.
