Exactly: in live, Darrell played "Becoming" just like it was on the record, but without the “dismembered cat” effect (which was an overdub, and Pantera hated overdubs)! As for the rest, Caz has already said... I would add that Pepper also gives him a good kick in the ass during the songwriting phase with Down... indeed, the results can be heard!
