I’LL REPOST IT FOR YOU: "go check who gave good ratings to Images & Words and to Awake... then ask yourself why those people (who I am convinced fall into your definition of 'the most knowledgeable') gave those ratings... Then ask yourself why they avoid arguing with all the little fans who enjoy trashing the DT without even having the slightest understanding of what they're saying "... SIMPLE AND STRAIGHTFORWARD... they might continue to annoy you... but the fact remains that they made two great albums (even though they are not free from tonal dips due to their usual rambling). It seems to me that I, Ktulu, and Pixies77 keep saying this, with a calm tone and reasoning.
ONE LAST NOTE: if you feel like having a laugh, go check how many gave 5 to the Dt for I&W and AWake, and today jump on the bandwagon of the "let's destroy the DT (and forget about I&W and Awake, since those are terrible too)" party! Alessio, maybe I’m not explaining myself well... what you say about Sartori is right, absolutely right. Period. That said, I agreed with Caz especially when he wrote about the shortcomings of the Italian left. Period!
