Just to satisfy my curiosity, I went to see what Scaruffi says about someone like Springsteen. And guess what, it's exactly the opposite of what Stoney says... Good grades for Born in the USA and River, populist albums that have 0 artistic value. A stretched 6.5 for Nebraska and a 5 for The Ghost of Tom Joad. Personally, I trust people who write here, like Hal, much more. I don't dispute the encyclopedic value of his work, but his opinions (on Tool, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, for example) are worth 0 to me!
