By the way... are you going to make a quick trip to see Alice in Chains in Milan?!

No, no, wait, I found it... Get ready for some laughs: Demon Days - Gorillaz - Recensione di mantaray
You have no idea how funny it is... reading it all again, I must say we all seemed a bit like a bunch of idiots arguing about a football match, like a homemade version of Biscardi’s process!

Ahaha..psycho I think you missed Francis's forum titled "Britpop Issue" where supervrens tried to explain why Britpop is sophisticated music while others showered it with insults and sneers! I hope they make a nostalgic piece out of it... I remember a truly Oscar-worthy comedic intervention... the Deb page where the Britpop discussion started, if I'm not mistaken, is still around... I think it's a review on Oasis, the one about Noel sitting at the right hand of Lennon or something like that... Skel seems to be overloaded!

Psycho, but didn't Francis already come from Ondarock? I remember that it already sparked a lot of irony back then... especially when they told him that he had been kicked out even on Ondarock...
Good Times!

Cornell, I'm sorry to contradict you, but I have all the albums we're talking about. If you check, you'll find that Layne wrote the lyrics (wonderful ones) for "Rotten Apple," "I Stay Away," and "Nutshell," but CANTRELL (sometimes with Inez, sometimes with Kinney) WROTE ALL THE MUSIC, and he is the sole author of both lyrics and music for "No Excuses" (as well as "Down in a Hole," "Rooster," and all the others). So... And similarly for "Above," Layne wrote all the lyrics, but the music is credited to Mad Season: where do we place Martins and McCready, and Lanegan?
@Sfascia: Empty and useless? As you can see, not many people consider it that way! What do you say, should we just put a nice De Gustibus on it, as you usually like to do?
@Mopaga: I don't know, maybe you're right... I still maintain that Cantrell has a great voice (even if it doesn't compare to Staley's).

Cornell, Layne didn't do it alone in Above, and honestly, I don't know who can say what his contribution was in Above... but honestly, I don't think he was a great composer; I believe his contribution was greater in the lyrics, but even there, Cantrell was giving him a track (rooster, down in a hole...)! Then, regarding the fact that Layne's voice was unique and gave that extra something to the band, who can disagree?!

Come on, videos make me nauseous, especially considering the consequences over the years, with MTV now choosing for record labels what’s acceptable and what’s not… Forget being biased, if it were up to me, MTV would have never existed (even though it was something else in the beginning…). Come on, poor things, at best they'll get played on Rock TV or some show with Pino Scotto! From what I’ve heard around, it's word of mouth that’s doing everything for the AIC, not just here in Italy…

Great memories... I wish the old guard was back here: easy mistreating all the DT fans, Matteo brutally mistreated by Nick, Jim who curses the Santana fans, Vic who wanted to hook up with Francis's sisters, and Francis posting pictures of him and his friends on a Friday night trying to get lucky and then going on the forum to insult me because I insulted sophisticated Britpop... By the way, I'm joining in on caz (you miss massimof, huh?!) and Psycho... the old forum pages should be brought back, even in installments, like amarcord... I vote for the Britpop issue from Vrensis!
