Come on, don't be a Scaruffino! ;) I was 13-14 years old when I started playing the guitar and like almost everyone back then, I started playing because I saw Slash... someone else for Metallica... you have to start somewhere... hahaha... I felt personally involved (sensitive subject)... if you start with Tom Verlaine, something's off!

And then you shift the conversation, I was simply saying that I would never want to have to think about which social class my music is suitable for... so I avoid giving a certain type of connotation to what I listen to... and I also prefer Iggy, but the Police (even if they have a completely different story... Summers and Copeland were practically jazz musicians) don’t seem like they’re newcomers to me!
