My luthier suggested putting a minihumbucker on my Strat... I was thinking of a Seymour Duncan JB, like Jerry Cantrell's! A Strat that pushes like a Gibson (more or less)! :) It's a pleasure for me too, plus Bartolini's reception is so welcoming, he is very hospitable!

I checked... humbucker designed for two purposes: more push and elimination of buzz... although I don't know, I can't explain myself... I can guarantee that a Gibson from which the cover plate of the humbuckers is removed buzzes a lot... and gains even more output!? Les Paul!!!

No super, I meant that they push a bit more, especially in distortion! :) But come on, no controversy... anyway, just to understand: I've always thought that the humbucker project was mainly related to output power... I didn't know that the intent was to eliminate the hum (meant exactly as hum, this time..) also because I had the chance to hear a Les Paul from which the plate (sorry if I don't use the technical term) covering the humbucker had been removed, and I assure you it hums like crazy... I have a USA Strat...

Bartolino, now I'm putting one on you! Humbuckers are the double pickups, like the ones in Gibsons (the cover isn’t the humbucker, it only serves to dampen its "push")... a humbucker buzzes a LOT more than a single pickup! The humbucker is CHAOS!!!! Long live the humbucker! Long live Bartolino! :)
