"Nevermind" is the most important rock album of the '90s, according to readers of "Tutto" and "TV Sorrisi & Canzoni" and viewers of MTV, I might add. In any case, it holds a certain significance since it had the "credit" of bringing (sugarcoating?) certain alternative rock from the late '80s to the masses of the early '90s. The truth lies somewhere in between; in this case, "Nevermind" is neither a masterpiece nor a piece of junk. P.S. I don't want to sound like a professor, but I recommend keeping an English dictionary handy for your future reviews.

Your ideas are partially understandable, but I didn’t think it was appropriate to include your personal outbursts in what was supposed to be a review. I don’t know this Merzbow album, but I own the two "Music For Bondage Performance," and he’s certainly someone who knows what he’s doing in the field of noise, but it all sounds a bit too gratuitous to my ears. While waiting to listen to this CD, I’ll give you 1 because you didn’t provide any indication about the music except that it “kicks ass.”

Don't be too scandalized, I usually have high standards even for the albums I like. If you look at everything on de-baser, the fives are plentiful, and it seems like masterpieces are everywhere. I, however, have given only four out of 17 reviews. Therefore, the two I assigned to this album isn’t such a harsh criticism; otherwise, I would have given it a one. Let's say that if Reznor had focused his ideas into a single album, discarding some filler and cutting down on a few grandiose passages, and had tried to drop the poses of a tormented soul in his singing that, in the long run, veers into self-parody, maybe I would have given it a nice three.

In general, I'm quite fond of new wave, but I've downloaded a bit from Scritti and it hasn't exactly blown me away. A little too "black" for my taste.

Regarding tastes, Undying, for me "The Fragile" is empty hype passed off as art. If I could, I would rewrite that review in a better form, but my opinion remains the same.
