Well.. the fact is: KING CRIMSON (as far as I'm concerned..) invented PROG..! While GENESIS took it to its highest expression (resulting sometimes too heavy perhaps.. but always legendary..)! Anyway.. yes.. the CRIMSON KING.. is a splendid group!!! I always listen to them.. I love PROG..! I also love JETHRO TULL (even if they're more FOLK..)! Anyway ALFREDO.. you were just lucky to find people who are open-minded..! Unfortunately.. nowadays.. whenever there's talk of music.. people only know how to insult and offend.. without explaining things civilly! I don't like that kind of people.. and I'd rather confront them civilly..! The advice I can give you about QUEEN is to listen to the first 3 albums..! That's it! Those were the TRUE QUEEN! The only thing that bothers me about these discussions about the "POP turn" is that.. everyone complains about QUEEN..! But nobody says anything about GENESIS.. who in the '80s.. became POP.. seriously POP chart-toppers..! The same goes for YES.. just think of OWNER OF A LONELY HEART.. for those who know it..! Etc.. etc..! In short.. QUEEN are not the only ones who changed genre.. and above all.. the blame shouldn't be placed directly on them.. but rather on the era: the '80s! I have nothing to say.. I love the '80s to death.. but.. during that time.. many artists shifted to other genres..! It's normal for it to be this way..! You’re right, ALFREDO! But you can’t really blame them if they are overrated! It's the media's fault… that have bombarded us with QUEEN.. after MERCURY's death..! As for the rest.. yes.. I can agree with you too..! But QUEEN are certainly not the only overrated ones.. quite the opposite..! And regarding the fact that there are many lesser-known but very valid bands.. that's absolutely right! P.S.: However, we also need to see what you’ve listened to from QUEEN! I mean.. if you listened to the albums from the '80s.. I get it.. because those albums are POP.. quite simple..! Whereas in the '70s.. there are masterpieces.. containing various musical genres..! In my opinion, this is one of the most complete albums of the band (it features all genres..) but on the other hand, it’s also one of the worst (ALL OF THIS..IN MY MODEST OPINION.. which is just as respectable as all your opinions, of course..)! And I agree about RADIO GA GA: I don’t like it at all..!

Great analysis: I agree with you! It’s certainly not a masterpiece, THE MIRACLE (and I would hope so..)! Some tracks are redeemable.. and make the album at least SUFFICIENT (for example with I WANT IT ALL, WAS IT ALL WORTH IT, etc..)! However, there are also some absurd and quite vomit-inducing songs as far as I'm concerned (RAIN MUST, MY BABY, etc..)!”

Same here! After the departure of GABRIEL, they practically haven't been the same! But TRESPASS, FOXTROT, SELLING ENGLAND, NURSERY, and THE LAMB are 5 absolute masterpieces!!!!!! Damn!!!
