Paysage D'Hiver Kerker

The latest Mayhem album I listened to two tracks and the rest I will avoid like the plague... a heavy avant-garde mash-up that's hard to digest and lacking in imagination. I was also disappointed by the latest Marduk. The old glories are dead, my friend... I am the first of the human cases, death! I signed up for this site when I was 14-15 years old, and you couldn't find a more foolish and cocky teenager than me even if you paid in gold! So I quietly take the laurel crown of a human case :-D

I only listened to Death Of Mankind, which positively impressed me. Beyond the light and this one are on my waiting list. It still feels like a project set up too quickly to be associated with depressive... maybe I'll be convinced later. Good review, a bit too short but heartfelt.

Great review, death... a bit "confused," if you know what I mean, but great nonetheless. It seems to me that the paysage d'hiver came before dark space, so it would be more accurate to say that dark space is a side project of paysage. I particularly miss this demo, but I really enjoyed Shattegang. Check out Noctis.

Hey, I get the feeling you’re from Rome. Maybe we know each other... do you play in any bands, or have you been to any concerts lately?

Don't worry, they are not essential... French depressive project, a one-man band... beautiful riffs and a production whose indecency borders on the ridiculous :-D

Nobody is claiming that you didn't know... however, if you had written it down, maybe it would have been better. No one is giving lessons to anyone... I'll look into that "nemesi" thing more closely, but I really do believe I'm right... ;-)

I don't think there's a need for me to comment on the album. Mother North is perhaps the most representative piece of black metal. The review leaves me puzzled...besides the inaccuracies mentioned by deathinaugust, to which I could add Fenriz's contribution to the writing of some lyrics, it seems to me that there are too many blunders, both syntactic and otherwise...sorry lustmord, what does it mean that black finds its "catharsis" with "A blaze..."??? In my opinion, absolutely nothing; "nemesis" also does not mean revenge. Nemesis is a term that originally designated a Greek deity responsible for the destruction of what could not be destroyed by human hands...currently, nemesis refers to the cause, be it a person or an event, of the failure of a project...The review, however, is heartfelt. Two for the good will.

Too slow and repetitive for my tastes, but still a nice CD. I remember appreciating the rhythmic approach and the singing a lot, even though it lacks a bit of power. The review is well done... it's just that I don't agree with the reviewer about the recording... have you ever heard Hypothermia?

I didn't like plague angel. Legion was the soul and the trademark of the group; without him, I don't think they'll be able to return to the glory days. I still have to hear this, but I'm starting off a bit biased...

They've always left me feeling a bit cold, not because they lack pathos... I just don't like their songwriting... too avant-garde. If you enjoy these, you should also check out Secrets Of The Moon, also German, also post-black. Received sharp, perfect, as usual.
