Fantastic review, even better than mine. To the domains of hate, where cold winds blow!

Stupid is the exact word. I don’t understand why a depressive band shouldn’t perform live.... happy to see you so engaged in listening, tep ;-)

Emanuele, how long have you known about black metal? Because, firstly, these guys have very little black in them, and then a sentence like "born ideologically under the sign of musical cacophony, black metal" makes no sense at all. I don't know if you deliberately omitted to mention that these guys play christian black, or unblack as you might call it...

Gorgoroth Incipit Satan

Supersoul, you're ridiculous. If someone tries to get on stage at a Gorgoroth show, even without threatening intentions, I believe Gaahl is capable of biting their head off. Get informed. Mature album, but reviewed in a rather superficial way. Their masterpieces remain Antichrist, Pentagram, and of course the legendary Under The Sign Of Hell... also keep an eye on the latest Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam.

then, it's not exactly a pronoun, but a pronominal particle, which has slightly different characteristics... I study linguistics, if you want I can explain it to you in detail :-)
Anorexia Nervosa The September E.P.

Yes, it’s a pronoun, so it has to refer to a name mentioned or implied earlier. "Ne è madrelingua" is like saying "Ne è bravo"... it doesn’t mean anything, as far as I know. Thank you for the philosophy with which you accept criticism ;-)

I disagree: I find them pompous and unnecessarily symphonic in some passages, with omnipresent keyboards, not to mention the melodicity limited to the vocal lines...! Nevertheless, they have a nice sonic wall, and they are aggressive enough to be a symphonic band. As for the review, it seems to me that you wanted to use a more refined vocabulary than you could afford: there are expressions and constructions where you have made glaring mistakes, and the punctuation leaves much to be desired. Let me give you some examples: "contendendo il titolo CON la successiva Quintessence"... apart from the fact that after "Quintessence" a period would have been necessary, it’s correct to say contendere il titolo A qualcuno/qualcosa, not CON. If you really cared about the CON, you should have written "contendendoSI". Then, "dai testi quasi incomprensibili senza i testi davanti" here I think you would have done well to proofread. "esortanti IL suicidio"... one exhorts someone AL suicidio... written as you did, it seems as if the lyrics exhort suicide (as a gender entity only known to you) to do something. And anyway, it would have been better to use the verb "istigare"..."esortare" is used more to express an attempt to convince based on logical reasoning. "e anche le strofe in francese, che risaltano oltre perchè la band NE è madrelingua, anche perchè in minoranza"... here you are disjointed, misusing those "perchè", and your use of "ne" as a pronoun is hair-raising, putting together a sentence that, besides lacking elegance, is syntactically and grammatically incorrect and requires a lot of interpretative effort from the reader. So, a solution could have been "che risaltano, oltre la padronanza dovuta al fatto che la band sia madrelingua, anche perchè in minoranza nell'uso della proprio idioma natio nella stesura dei testi". And you would have managed without getting caught up with the "ne". It also seems to me that the title of the song is "sTabat mater dolorosa", not "Sabat mater dolorosa". I hope you can improve. ;-)

Damn, I wanted to see it on Sunday and you managed to tell me not only how it ends, but also the highlights! At least put a damn disclaimer at the beginning!

Sfascia, as much as I respect my friend Tepes and his very personal ideas about BM, I can assure you that Gorgoroth are one of the most representative and evocative bands of the international scene. Generally, in black metal bands, there are almost never compromises: either you immerse yourself in the atmosphere, or you give in to the fury. Well, Gorgoroth are the first among those few groups that manage to be terrifyingly furious and immensely atmospheric at the same time. Moreover, you must also consider that their concert is a bit of the Shangri-la for blacksters: they've been pestering Europe for 15 years and are considered the emblem of Norwegian black metal by connoisseurs, sharing the crown with Darkthrone, from which, despite what my friend Tep says, they differ greatly stylistically. Unfortunately, they are proving to be true assholes: for those who don't know, Gorgoroth have disbanded... or rather, there are two factions (one including Infernus, opposed to the one formed by King Ov Hell and Gaahl) that, after the split of the original band a few days ago, have initiated a legal battle to determine who has the right to keep the name Gorgoroth. A name that, after this episode, no longer holds any current value for me and many others. I don't want to endorse violence, but in the '90s that they love to brag about, this story would have ended in stabbings...
