Two words to conclude. Judas, I have been part of the Italian black scene for a while now, I’ve shared the stage with bands like Impaled Nazarene and Forgotten Tomb, so lower that crest and wipe your mouth clean of words like "madonna" and "Jonas Brothers" when dealing with me. I speak because I know what I’m talking about, having been into metal and playing it since you were in diapers. I read the same arrogance in your words that I had a few years ago... all this talk about paths, claiming to be smarter, these displays of indifference toward others' thoughts, this hatred against the "fashionable ones"… you know what the truth is? The truth is that until not long ago, your biggest dream was to be a fashionable one too, a "cool" guy, with designer jeans and appeal among your peers, with the permission to stay out late on Saturday nights in clubs... and yet, for one reason or another, you didn’t succeed. Then you discovered that you could take pride in that forced difference, that you could exaggerate your marginalization to turn it into a flag… all thanks to a couple of unconventional bands. The truth is that a metalhead remains, always and anyway, someone who hasn’t managed to carve out a space for themselves.

Nonsense galore in this review. One example: that "salubre" used inappropriately. Do you know what "salubre" means? No? Then don’t write it. "I’m on a long, exhausting, immense, maybe endless journey. I’m slowly discovering Metal in all its forms, in all its creations, in all its splendor"... what a fucking journey. Let me tell you from someone who has done it before you. Metal is the most childish thing ever seen; the metalhead mentality is a mix of socialist reminiscences and childish desires for differentiation. The metalhead hates the masses because they couldn’t integrate into them. The metalhead doesn’t feel different from the masses: the metalhead feels weak, unable to find comfort among others. Hiding behind music makes no sense. Great record.

You get too caught up in lexical somersaults that don't serve a purpose. I really only appreciated darkspace I; the rest is too ambient/industrial.

Sparse review, but good. It’s a shame about that "AVESSERO" at the end, which is like a hot nail driven into an armpit.

@Macaco, Fenrir; thank you. @Sexmachine; no Evolian escatology, zero right-wing philosophy or Nietzschean thought, no references to Norse mythology...Kosmo, heaven knows how much I wish you would speak from direct experience ;-)

Sexmachine, it may seem absurd to you, but women adore me. Without false modesty. I'm on point.

@Barteleboom: thank you so much, I didn't know you were an editor, I hope to hear from you soon; @Terry: very well done, but the prize was mainly for laughs... however, please, you and mukkio, stop spamming my email inbox; @Kosmo... so happy to hear from you again! I can't tell you how glad I am that you stopped by... write to me again! @Claisdead: undeserved compliments, as I told Vincent, but thanks anyway; @Thirdeye: a wise man who hasn't been here yet, because otherwise he would have already caused a stir.

Thank you all. @Prometheus, I don't know how to help you. Black is an extremely varied genre, and you will certainly be able to find bands you like. To recommend something, I would need to know what kind of atmospheres you are looking for, which isn't very clear even to you, judging by the bands you've mentioned. Ask Vincent Valentine or Deathinaugust, who know as much or more than I do. @Ale9t0, I don't think there's anything that comes close to the wolok... at least, I don't know of any band that is comparable. @Telespalla, @Galakordi, always happy to have you on my pages. @Vincent, yes, I believe you are referring to the historic solo project of Lhükkmer'thz, whose name is currently slipping my mind. However, I remember being impressed by its rawness... something comparable to the worst belketre or Vlad Tepes. It's also worth noting that he manages to release a demo a month. Thanks for the compliments, but I feel they are undeserved. I've been a bit twisted in my thoughts and not very attentive to my typing... blame the damn exams, the damn job, the damn broken motorcycle, the damn grueling workouts, etc.

I slipped up on a gender agreement. A prize for whoever finds it.
