The only thing I ever digested from the great Lionello was when, while dubbing an interview conducted by Bonolis, he distanced himself from Allen's statement that claimed he was an atheist and that there was nothing after death. As a voice actor who relays what the original says, he wanted to carve out a space for himself even though no one had asked for his opinion...
Slayer & Megadeth Live @ Gran Teatro Geox, Padova 04.04.11

I caught them at the Big 4 with Anthrax and Metallica; I saw Slayer and Megadeth in 2005 and the former were a bit lackluster, especially Araya who was really out of sorts. But from what I read and hear, he has bounced back; maybe it's because he no longer does headbanging and is focusing more on singing and playing well. Let's hope Hanneman recovers by July, but have you heard how Mustaine sounds? Last year he was really struggling with the high notes, but they say he's getting better. Fingers crossed!

Sorry, double comment. Well, I think the Black Crowes have mentioned the Faces as one of their influences, and listening to and comparing the two bands, there are common elements.

Thank you so much :) I do my best to bring forgotten gems to light; to me, they were great and influenced one of my favorite bands, the Black Crowes, and they provided the perfect ground for Rod's raspy voice. As for the reviews, I finally found a way and the time to start writing again, and I hope to get going because there are so many albums here that haven't been properly reviewed yet :)

Chris Robinson & The New Earth Mud This Magnificient Distance

I don’t have the record in question, but I will get it since I love the Black Crowes and Robinson's voice. However, I take this opportunity to let you know that on July 7, the Crows will be playing in Italy in Vigevano.

After 9 years and a thousand ups and downs, I thought they would make a more conventional album, but instead they tried to do something different from their past. I see them a bit more pop-oriented in some moments, while in others definitely rocking and bluesy. I notice a strong influence in Weiland's singing from Bowie during the Ziggy Stardust period. It's not a masterpiece, but it's a new path that's pretty good, giving cause for hope.
