Baustelle La malavita

It's a good album, sure, but not a standout. Some noteworthy and very refined lyrics and others a bit hastily thrown together. Musically it's all nice but a bit too easy for my tastes. For example, La Guerra è Finita has lyrics that seem like a novel in the style of i Ragazzi dello Zoo di berlino condensed into three stanzas of four minutes, a masterpiece, but the music and arrangement feel like they've been heard a thousand times before.

Yeah, okay, everything's nice, but how's the album?

Dear wrecking yard, at first your archaic and Renaissance eloquence was charming, but in the long run, let me tell you, it becomes cloying, boring, and irritating. You've wrecked our balls more than the carriages. It may not be very elegant, but it conveys the idea. Funeral rites.

Dear reviewer of Aurora Boreale, read the other reviews and the comments from the readers to get an idea and some self-reflection.......... I think you didn't understand a damn thing about this album.
Best regards

I mostly agree with you; unfortunately, I also wrote a review of this album yesterday because I didn't like the first two, and I believe it will be published tomorrow or Tuesday. If I had read yours, I wouldn't have done it.

Oh, I almost forgot... for those in Rome, you can definitely find it at Disfunzioni Musicali, maybe by ordering it. Anyway, they ship everywhere. They have a website... enough advertising.

I'm telling you that this album has nothing to do with Elettrojoyce; it's a completely different thing. I honestly didn't mind the lyrics of Illumina, but these are different and definitely less spiritual and more concrete. The record has an apparently zen-minimalist appearance. I immediately had the strong impression that it's the work of a more mature and cynical author. I repeat, it feels fundamentally introspective. As for Fossati, I've never listened to him, with all due respect, but he doesn't resonate with me and I'm not remotely interested; I can admit that maybe the timbre of his voice is similar, but that's about it. People love to shoot nonsense.

The child within me would give this album a 5, and the adult in me would even give it a 7. This album is the manifesto of Italian rock: bad, cynical, violent, deep, and angry. The first line of the record is a blasphemy!! and the rest is all screams and references to suicide... and you say it’s melodious, easy, nice, and catchy!!!???? Did you find a CD of Alex Britti inside the Afterhours case? In my opinion, you really didn’t understand much about this album. It’s not for you. Maybe you haven’t grown up enough yet... let me lick the adrenaline, it’s pointless!!???? te possin'ammazzà!!!!!
