Dear Alessio, maximum respect for your opinion; after all, music is like this: you either like it or you think it sucks, and there’s nothing more to say. However, I do not share your reflection on the trendy band, because it seems absolutely clear to me that it is much more in vogue to say that Verdena suck rather than the opposite. I remember one evening a few years ago spent with pseudo-intellectuals stuck in the seventies (consider that I am 34 myself) when I almost felt ashamed to say that the album "Solo un grande sasso" wasn’t bad... I had the distinct impression that in certain circles, it’s very fashionable to shit on everything that was born after ’79. I, on the other hand, am proud to consider myself a free thinker, and even though I was born in ’73, I don’t give a damn about music from 30 years ago. If I hear a good album by people born yesterday, I can recognize that it’s a good album; if it sucks, I’ll tell you it sucks, point and simple, not because the musicians are assholes, or because they act cool, or because they are inspired by Nirvana. And I’ll tell you more... I’ve always thought Nirvana sucked.

I saw it. I'm not particularly fond of Ozpetek. Beautiful film. Great actors except for Accorsi and Ambra. Pierfrancesco Favino is very good.
