My dear, you're not entirely wrong in what you think, but in what you write, you're making a lot of mistakes. Why? Simple, because you've confused a rock concert in a club like the Velvet with a Bach concert at La Fenice in Venice. From the height of your experience, you should know that the two are distinct and should be enjoyed differently. Sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll (to keep it banal in the discussion) doesn't seem to be a slogan coined by Salieri while describing Mozart's poetics, but by someone else while describing something entirely different. You teach me that a concert isn't just music (for that, CDs are sufficient), but also ethos, environmental involvement, and it must be experienced according to certain unwritten rules of event enjoyment. I don't believe you've ever seen someone slam dance at a Keith Jarrett concert or conversely rhythmically flutter their palm at a live show of Johnny Rotten, when it wasn't the latter spitting and burping in your face! So if I go to see an APC concert and can't peacefully have a “pair” with my friends, it really pisses me off; I would have never thought that if instead, I had gone to see Aida at the Arena di Verona. Everything should be experienced according to the socio-environmental conditions it offers (in my opinion).
Anyway, at your next concert, I hope you play death metal; don't worry, we'll come in droves and at the end of the concert, we will pluck the strings of our violins to applaud your talent—surely no one will dare to clap rudely in appreciation between one piece and another of your metal repertoire.
You know what I say? Just live relaxed and smoke one more joint and have one less mental rant... oh, and don't forget to pass the joint!

It would have been the album of 2003 for me too, if I hadn’t bought it tonight and already be listening to it for the 3rd time in a row... and what if it gets tiring? Well, for now, I'm enjoying it! Concert? I'll be there, and on March 8th it will be a concert full of lonely and slightly sad women; definitely need to organize a de-meeting! (lupo de-lupis)

beautiful review, telling songs is wrong, deadly, but drawing them, painting them, coloring them, makes them even more alive... maybe it's a way to "steal" them from those who created them..... or a simple good intention.... I will buy the record. thanks hal
Nice comment, just as much as the review and the record, I embrace all three, congratulations to everyone.

I’ve listened to the album and it’s a load of crap copied here and there. Isn’t my comment original? Because the album is?!
Regarding the ongoing debate about this latest wave of copycats, cute, friendly, and listenable, they all (no exceptions) share a huge flaw: they are all, without exception, incredibly trendy. It’s not a bad thing to sell and please people, but if this type of sound, post-this or nu-that, weren’t in fashion right now, none of the aforementioned bands would get any attention, and no label would publish even the slightest fart from them... and they would end up back in the cellar doing what’s called “hard graft.”

But why do so many albums, including this one, get boring so quickly?
I listened to it the first 3 times with sturm und drang, but then it faded away.
Are there no more unforgettable albums? In all of 2003, not a single album has lasted more than 3 consecutive months in the stereo, neither hail to the thief nor anything else, what's going on?

The album is really very nice, my CD dealer recommended it to me 20 days ago and he was right. By all means, nothing new, nothing original, they are not the saviors of dying rock, but this is truly a great little record. As mentioned above, a good minestrone, and I like minestrone. Recommended!
