"They finally filled the void left in our hearts by the CSI. And we, old steadfast fans more loyal than ever, are thankful." But it’s a strong disappointment feeling Nada sing like Ferretti in "Miccia Prende Fuoco" and thinking about how magical this album could have been with the classic voices of CSI; each track on this CD carries a void because you understand perfectly that these songs were written for Ferretti's voice, and the female voices that echo him, apart from Nada, do not fill this void, despite their commendable effort. Beautiful the review, written as if lived.

Always reviews with a "cultured" tone, well done Hal, but deliberately omitting the (albeit obvious) references to the ghost of Ferretti, which are very much felt in the album, seemed like a bold move to me. It’s fine that history moves forward, but portraying this album as a true "debut" doesn’t seem right to me. This CD is full of references, resentments, and reflections on the past and present of the most important partnership that Italian rock music has ever had. Listening to Nada on this album is like hearing the feminine intonation given by Giovanni Lindo to all the previous CSI albums.

The 15-minute video is on the DVD attached to the CD, but I don't know if it's a limited edition or if it's in all copies.

So we are ready to go and listen to this album at a "solo" concert in Milan by the great Nick Cave. He has always been my favorite musician, even though "nocturama" is not his best album.

It may be a sign of the times, it may be youth communication, it may be whatever the hell you want, but if you have access to way more than 160 characters here, then for what fucking reason do I have to read an endless and annoying series of spelling errors made up of KE, KI, KUA (even!?) NN, endless ellipses instead of commas, and perpetually K instead of not only CH (which could even have the same sound), but even instead of C and QU? It’s all abominable!
Please listen to less metal and go back to school, but this time to actually study!
One last thing: cazzo is written with a C, not with a K, CAZZO!!!
It's not a matter of metal but of annoying ignorance.

I've never claimed they are innovative (see the Tom York voice and Mogwai guitars).
The noise god is a comment I heard from the guy behind me at the concert, and honestly, I thought it was right at that moment.
As far as one gets to hook up half the venue (the other half are guys), well, first: lucky him, and that's his own business, and second... envy is a nasty beast.

But this is the second review among those I wanted to write that gets stolen from me in two days! I was skeptical about the girl too, but now that the CD has been spinning relentlessly on my player for days, I must sincerely say that there have been very few times like this in all of 2003/04 when I've truly been happy to spend my money. She has a grand voice, to be refined, nurtured, and perhaps even tamed, but if neither she nor those guiding her make mistakes, she will be a wonder that could overwhelm many, perhaps too many, more established peers. The production on the album is top-notch, and you can hear it. The retro sound setting aligns it with the golden period productions of Atlantic, but what makes this record a ray of light among hundreds of identical and "trendy" productions is that it is an honest album, devoid of electronics, and it doesn't chase after sometimes pretentious nuances of nu-soul. If it had come out 35 years ago, it would have been a beautiful album like many from that time; being born now makes it a courageous novelty: true music played by people who are also seasoned (the musicians) but who revalue the real supremacy of musical instruments over electronics and post-production, music made with heart and soul, namely SOUL music. WITHOUT PREJUDICES!

Dear Matteo Brutal, indeed the comments here came from the mouth; perhaps it's you who makes them from the ass (at least that's what can be understood from your last comment).
