Gianni Maroccolo A.C.A.U. - La Nostra Meraviglia

I have both albums by Ginevra Di Marco and honestly, and I'm also very sorry to say this, both are horrible. If Magnelli is the kind of music he knows how to make, it's really a good thing he left PGR, and it would also be good if he stopped writing music for anyone. No musician has ever been as pompous as he is, and so is Di Marco.

As usual, I read the review a long time after it was published on the site. Klaus Schulze, how awesome! I listened to him, Tangerine Dream, and Clara Mondshine non-stop when I was 15, and I still have quite a few vinyl records from that time, although they only come out from the Stanton so rarely. Well, this is the occasion to dust them off from their cardboard covers. Great review, a little dip into the heart of memories.

Nice review, do me a favor and send me this disk, and I'll make you an interesting compilation to return the favor. I don't have a euro left to buy this too, I wasted the last ones on the REM CD, so if you want, I can send you that.
Starsailor Love Is Here

One of the many English bands, there are so many now and all the same that listening to any record becomes a bore (for me). Travis, Coldplay, Turin Brakes, Starsailor, Sophia, etc. etc... it's just too much, you can hardly tell them apart anymore.

But would this be the great review of that eagle between my friend's legs, I mean? ....please!

Yes, exactly a 3-ball disc and maybe even half of less!
For me, the song sung by Jovanotti was not displeasing, precisely because in its banality it stands out from the overall monotony of the others.

"When these tracks were played in their original version, some of them were not even born yet" ...so Kosmo, you're making me feel like a real old shoe! I've got the record (thanks again K!), but as I've said elsewhere, at first it excited me mainly because of the (old) memories, but then in its repetitiveness it comes close to boredom essentially because (in no particular order): 1st, the Brazilian mood with the English vocals loses something. 2nd, the operation seemed quite ambitious to me; I would have preferred if the lyrics had also been arranged in Portuguese, then the songs would have truly been transformed. Instead, it felt like a nice lounge compilation (which I don't mind). 3rd, and here I truly show my age, the comparison with the originals is inevitable; I know I shouldn't do it, but... Among all the songs, my favorite is "This is not a love song" by P.I.L., mainly because it brings back too many memories :'-( (damn, I'm old!)
Joss Stone The Soul Session

I really liked this album, but honestly, when I read that there was a review on Joss Stone, I thought it was about the latest one, for which I have curiosity but many concerns, since they are her pieces and the reviews I've already read are not as positive as for the first one.
Welcome also from Enrika... but aren't you really from Turin??? (what the hell could that mean!?)
