Gang Tribes' Union
Voto:
I first saw La Gang in concert in Senigallia right in the year this album was released, and then many more times. They’ve also stayed in my heart, yet I wouldn't have minded a leap in their popularity that never happened; others have managed to achieve it quite respectably (CCCP/CSI among their contemporaries). I've never understood why WEA dropped them; after all, even the CCCP had signed with Virgin.
Pat Metheny Group We Live Here
Voto:
I have all of Pat Metheny's albums from the last 30 years, and this is among my favorites, less jazz and even less purist, but no less beautiful for that, perhaps Pat's best period after the ECM era.

Foschicciù, I'm always here! I read but I don't write... which is always better than: I write but I don’t edit (like many do) :-)
Quentin Tarantino Bastardi Senza Gloria

Two scenes in this film are superb: the beginning and the dialogue in the bar between Landau and B. Pitt. The rest is at the level of lesser Tarantino, but those two quarters of an hour are unforgettable!
Santiago Calatrava Ponte della Costituzione (Venezia)

Overall, especially aesthetically, I like the bridge; it’s not bold, but in my opinion, it harmonizes well with the context. For example, I find the "Scalzi" one much uglier and rather exhausting to cross. However, I also think that from a social utility perspective, it shows several shortcomings. First and foremost, it’s obvious that there are issues with architectural barriers, but it’s also true that the "rise/run" ratio makes the crossing uncomfortable, and the glass of the walkway can be downright dangerous when it’s damp or even icy, which happens quite frequently in Venice.
Erik Ursich Kanashii - Il Piacere Della Tristezza

A few years have passed and this review resurfaces, I had even forgotten that I own one of those 300 unique copies and how hard I worked to find it! Sometimes my vinyl collection is more of a monument to my musical "upbringing" than actual music media... damned insubstantial mp3s! (but here we could open up a long discussion that already smells of mold)
Edward Hopper Nighthawks

Beautiful this reception! It captures that sign that Hopper left 50 years ago, but which has never changed... a great loneliness suspended among a people of thoughts!
