Charlie Haden & Pat Metheny Beyond The Missouri Sky
Voto:
I completely agree with everything you've written! This album has been keeping me company since '97 during the good times, when I need to make someone feel something from Pat Metheny, since I adore him and all my friends know it, it's the last 4 tracks of this album that I play for them. The only regret was when last year C. Haden and Pat Metheny performed this album in concert in Vicenza, and of course the tickets had vanished, I would have paid a fortune! (Can you believe the person who gave me this album told me: "It's the first Metheny album I buy, but what a bore! If you like this stuff, keep it.")

This morning I came across the old 45 RPM of "Ehi ci stai?" in my record collection, and seeing your review an hour later made me happy. As for the quality, I remain uncertain.

The opening of the album is on loop wherever I can rest my ears in listening! Assuming that the rest of the album is very, very beautiful with a few dips, given that you had already mentioned it.

The other day I heard it completely, but just once, so the judgment remains pending. Just like the purchase remains suspended because the choice of the euro investment was between this one and the latest Deus, which, although very different, struck me more at first listen.
The Boy Least Likely To Best Party Ever

Wow, tomorrow is my birthday! There will be four of us turning 9 years old, plus my little brother who's two. My dad wanted to call that oldie Cristina D’Avena for my party, but then again, he’s "old-fashioned." I was thinking of something more fun; what do you think, should I invite them for the party?
I almost forgot, tomorrow at my place in Verona, you’re all invited to "The Best Party Ever"!!!

You know you're right, I’ll stop listening to you! (...and you leave me in my blissful and foolish ignorance)

Before leaving a few words here, I thought about it a lot; I would have liked to talk about do-goodism (a rampant virus on deb), I would have liked to mention how much I hated Cuin for making me miss (from start to finish!) Echo & Co., about the two amazing late-night DJ sets, about the rum and pear forever linked to son-Li (if I remember correctly, this is a dangerous name for a Jew from the New York upper-class), about the magic of the Japanese rain, about the Urbino sunset viewed while lying on a sloping little lawn in favor of the Renaissance skyline, about everyone getting in for free while I had to pay 50 damn euros!, about the pre-meeting in Pergola and about so much else that has stayed with me... but what really gave me chills was finding myself sitting in a nocturnal embrace at the feet of the Torricini of Laurana, it felt like I was living my own intimate story cradled by my favorite History. Thank you pì.

This piece of your life you've described in a "visual" way like in a movie, read and passionate about your "classic" days. These encounters happen rarely, but when they do, they stay with you forever; I don't forget the one I had, just as randomly, with a guitarist who accompanied Paco de Lucia on tour. It was electrifying, it lasted three days, I was 16 years old, and above all, it remained eternal for my personal "acoustic vision" of music. Congratulations Odra!
