Every now and then someone brings back this review of the foschicciuzza... and every now and then, from the distant 2003, it's nice to send greetings.

After a long time, I returned to this old review of mine, it’s nice that someone has written on it again. Thank you. Anyway, I still occasionally take this album for a drive years later... because the toll booth queues never end, on the contrary!
The Soulsavers It's Not How Far You Fall, It's The Way You Land

I met them through their debut album with the son of the great Charlie Haden. It was my Christmas gift in 2005 to G, who after a few listens threw it at my back! Let's say it was the closing of the circle for those who loved listening to Lounge music. Let's say the two albums could overlap if you removed Lanegan's voice, the guitars that leave a mark, the more or less dirty sound... in short, it would be an entirely different album! Well, this may indeed remind you of their previous one in the final part, but that’s it.
Hi Hal, no more trips to Veneto?
Franco Battiato Il Vuoto

I’ve listened to it a lot of times, at first it bored me and didn’t convince me, but now I think it’s beautiful, though it lacks the absolute spark, the timeless song; to give a trivial example, “la cura” versus “l'imboscata,” just to be clear.
Underground Life Filosofia dell'aria

Damn it! The Underground Life, and it opens drawers in the heart that have been closed for years! I still remember their concerts in Senigallia, what a time! I see you’ve done all the reviews of a time that has now passed...
Pat Metheny & Brad Mehldau Metheny/Mehldau
Voto:
To be honest, while I love both musicians, this work of theirs did not convince me. I don't know, in the last ten years the only work that truly excited me from Pat Metheny was the superlative collaboration with Charlie Haden.
C.S.I. La Terra, La Guerra, Una Questione Privata

In my opinion, a magnificent record that, by the way, I have the pleasure of owning on double vinyl. Annarella is performed with chills. I lived in Alba during those years, and this record, bought at one of their concerts, is the most vivid memory of that couple of years that weren't exactly positive otherwise.

This album is awful compared to how beautiful the double album from 2003 was... worst disappointment of the year!
Tom Waits Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards
Voto:
I found it under the Christmas tree, I had asked Baby Jesus for it and I must say it didn't disappoint me, even though I'm not someone who has ever particularly loved Waits, despite having 4 of his CDs.
Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros Global A Go-Go
Voto:
Yeah, Joe Strummer. Just today I was listening to streetcore in the car, what a nostalgic trip!
