This album isn't bad, but it gets a bit boring over time. Do you remember Gabri was in my car when we came up to Lugano together with that one from Archive (I don't know how I remember these things!). The one by the Neville Brothers, which I recall is a twenty-year anniversary, that's a great album, but I haven't listened to it in ages.

Enrico Rava Easy Living
Voto:
This is a nice album, but I've only managed to listen to it a few times. Maybe it's just me, but while I acknowledge its greatness, Rava eventually becomes a drag for me, and from Bollani, I'd like to hear more lyricism and less flair, even though it's backed by exceptional technique.

A truly magnificent album that I recently discovered, but now it plays quite a bit on my system as well. Congratulations on the beautiful review, heartfelt and fully appreciated the way you listen to certain music.
CCCP Fedeli Alla Linea Affinità-Divergenze Tra Il Compagno Togliatti E Noi
Voto:
A group that, along with the Litfiba of those years, has marked my entire subsequent musical life. And the greatest thing I recognize in Ferretti (and in no one else) is his musical evolution; he has undoubtedly followed a path that I completely identify with. CCCP-CSI-PGR and then the explorations of tradition and a certain mysticism represent the right cultural journey of a mind in progress. It is much sadder to listen to "d'anime e d'animali," which returns to the old CCCP style, than to "Liturgia," which instead is a profound reflection of intent and research between the past and present of Ferretti the musician.
Carlo Mazzacurati La Giusta Distanza
Voto:
This is not among Mazzacurati's best films, and it's also true that at times it slips into the clichés of respectability and predictability. However, the actors hold their roles well, and above all, the film perfectly reconstructs the slow, provincial, and intriguingly gray reality of the Polesine. The review seems more like a summary of a press release.
Keith Jarrett Concerto @ Teatro Alla Scala Milano 14.10.07
Voto:
I envied my dear friend Vittorio who was there the other night just as he envied me for having been to La Fenice last year; we called it even this summer in Brescia by going to listen to the Trio. However, Jarrett's now manic hysteria (from Umbria Jazz to the cough at La Scala...) with these behaviors that have become almost laughable because they go beyond any sense of moderation has really worn me out! So what should I say, as an audience member, who matters as much to the success of the concert as he does as "the artist" when last year at La Fenice he got a cramp in his finger, which resulted in him interrupting the performance and stepping away from his "workstation," effectively wrecking my right to concentrated auditory enjoyment, which I paid a very high price for (250 euros), and therefore, should I have asked for a refund (at least in part) for the ticket?
The Fuzztones Lysergic Emanations
Voto:
One of the albums I liked the most back then, among other things some of its songs (Cinderella above all) were real dancefloor fillers when I was a DJ. I saw them at the Aleph in Cattolica... young, angry, and dazed music fan. The "live in Europe" in my opinion is worth little and delivers even less.
Robert Rodriguez Planet Terror
Voto:
This film amounts to a couple of lost hours in the day, but since so many are wasted, why not flush these two down the toilet as well? The movie will be a tribute to everything you want, from Fulci to the '70s and the rest of the gang... but here there's no interesting homage, just a sterile fun in doing something "badass" when you really have no idea what to do. One thing is to pay homage to the past with the thousand fantastic quotes from the couple's early films, and another is to photocopy with a super-expensive, cutting-edge machine what was done (beautifully) with a mimeograph 30 years ago!

A magnificent album, on an evening truly blessed by a great star. I have the album on double vinyl, now I'll take a look on e-bay to check the prices...
