It is a humanitarian mission: we must ensure that this individual does not attempt to write reviews anymore, disheartened by the results achieved by this...

Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory

Hi easy... I doubt that after a year and more you still remember me... my absence was due to a computer malfunction, but that's another story that interests no one. So, where to begin? I believe that of your recent statements, the most debatable is the following: "the Ramones with three chords revolutionized rock, the DT failed with far more expressive possibilities and claiming to do 'high' music..."; I completely agree with the discussion about the Ramones (which, in my opinion, could be applied to many other bands... for example, just to name one, the Beatles), but what you say about the Drama Theater is absolutely false: the five New Yorkers do not "demand" anything, their music is neither "high" nor "low". Their production does not aim to prove anything, it is not a "musical narcissism," a "sophistry" of music or anything like that... Moreover, I do not understand what meaning terms like "high," "low," and even BORGHESE, as someone said quite a while ago, can have when talking about music.

Ah, regarding this discussion about drummers, I would say that Carl Palmer is second to none. I hope you all agree with me.

And to think that at first I wanted to review it too...the review is written quite well, aside from some misunderstandings of the Italian language and verb forms, and a couple of inaccuracies: the title of the second track is "The answer lies within," not "The answer within," and in the title track it's not Rudess playing the flute with the keyboard, but a member of the orchestra contacted by the band. It's a fairly pleasant album, with some songs like those on RTL 102.5 (such as "I walk beside you"), completely different from "Train of Thought," which in some ways is superior (TOT is definitely more challenging), but in my opinion should be removed from the Dream discography. This one, on the other hand, is acceptable.
Queen Made in Heaven

Sylvain is right about Neil Young... he's absolutely not on the same level as the one you mentioned... I mean, first you give 5 stars to "Made in Heaven," then you put Neil Young and CESARE CREMONINI on the same plane... all of Young's albums are better than "Made in Heaven," without exception. Claudio, I understand that I love Queen, I like them too, but not every single album of theirs has been a masterpiece to be worshipped at all costs... I mean, it's not like just because a CD is by Queen "we give it 5 stars because they are the greatest of all time"... you also need to be able to critique, even when it comes to your favorite band, or at least accept criticism... okay? Overall, a pleasant review... even if I don't agree with anything that's written.
