Oh, if you review it, it means I should steer clear of it! Great advice!

But how beautiful are the covers of these Italian song anthologies? The photo looks just like one of those they take of you while you're at the tax payment office and you don’t have any snapshots. Great job, Jimmy!

Damn, finally! Let's be honest: Paterson is excruciatingly long. I don't agree with the whole idea of "continuous evolution" of the tracks: for me, 6-7 minutes instead of 15-16 are more than enough. The reason lies in the setting: it was something that made sense on the dance floor after two in the morning, and it lasted for minutes and minutes in the same mood. "Majestic" uber alles, anyway.

When I saw it at 14, I thought about how "oriental" it was in its framing, editing, and screenplay. The accusation of westernized production is almost laughable when recalled. Enjoyable, with a note of demerit (how could one do without it?) for the usual dandy of Gere.

I didn't expect this, huh. Anyway, I liked Lenny more with the Jagger hair, you know.
Brian Eno & Harold Budd Ambient 2: The Plateaux Of Mirror

Hello, folks. I wanted to tell my buddy that the reunion is too fabulous. As for the rest: patients will be given, and I have the design more or less in mind, eh. By the way, notice how in the previous review I already made an implicit reference to this. Which, by the way, was written in homage to the global figure of Brian Eno, specifically referencing the album as it was not yet present in the magical database.

Great observation! At least the EWF started a bit earlier (I read they formed in 1969), but as far as I know, like KC & Sunshine, even though they made their mark in disco music, they didn't use substantial electronic music: as far as I know hits like "September," "That's the way of the world," and "Getaway" were rather acoustic. In the '80s they would focus on other things. About KC, the discussion is similar ("That's the way I like it," "Shake your booty," etc.), and it's worth noting that their first album is contemporaneous with the first one regarding the collaboration between Moroder and Summer, so they can't even boast a particular primacy. I certainly couldn't consider these groups in a discussion on electronic music, while Moroder was truly the first to coin that kind of "synthetic" dance music, effectively anticipating the '80s.

Awesome, finally here on Debaser. The thing that I think sets them apart from the rest of the Krautrock crew is the Eastern element, which is hardly found elsewhere and perfectly blended here. Besides, it’s very easy to digest, much better, in my indisputable opinion, than certain long Gottschingian orgies or Czukay and company sessions. Well done beenees!
