Ah, these two drunks. It starts from a sacred consideration: worse than Untilted could not be done. The motivations that led to this latest work are dictated by the fact that the two from Manchester perhaps realized that people are a bit fed up with the dead ends of Untilted, with the dissonant kling klang dragged on for minutes on end that have been boring us since the days of Confield. What comes out of it is a pleasant little disc, full of Enyian sketches, enjoyable techno-ambient watercolors like an ice-cold peach tea. There’s no masterpiece, there’s no high note: you have to take it for what it is, a glimpse opened up in the reluctant sludge of deafening beats where, like a descent into Hell, they had plunged without knowing how to rise again. Maybe in three years they'll finally bring themselves back up along the abominable body of Lucifer, and they’ll emerge to see the stars again.

Basically, the cover design is the same as the early Neu! ones. And Neu!75 is quite cute, even if it probably doesn't add anything to the kraut history. And I'll listen to the Dusseldorf ones, sooner or later.
