"Camerata" was just to tease you, obviously. As for the rest, I anticipated that you would emphasize your peaceful intentions, and I believe in your good faith when you say that you weren't necessarily referring to the niche when you spoke of "other stuff." My criticism is aimed at a broader audience, not specifically at you, and those who have ears should listen. Debaser is often picky; there are incredible gaps regarding artists deemed too mainstream while they linger on alternative artists who, perhaps just because they have ended up in the benevolent mouth of some critic, are mentioned out of sheer deference. And I repeat: Skinny Puppy out of the market, while they reissue all the kraut-rock. By the way, I love kraut-rock, but surely among 100 kraut records there are some that are terrible (there are quite a few, because many major labels reissue them entirely, so besides the 2-3 masterpieces, there are dozens of outright garbage from the same group or artist), while of the dozens from Skinny, 3-4 could actually be dug up. No choice was happier. Bye, old spider.

Comrade Odradek, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I stand firmly by my choice of Skinny. This incredible indulgence towards the independent niche has generated an excessive attention on Debaser and other music review sites regarding the famous "too much other stuff to listen to," which now perhaps enjoys too much deference. Under the pretext of "There’s other stuff out there," "I'll get around to them eventually," the Skinnies, a remarkable phenomenon of the second industrial era, had only 3 reviews on Debaser that weren't even very commented on. About the alleged caricatured malice, it’s an improper phrase and I’m surprised that you endorse it: the malice of Ogre didn’t even know what it was, so much so that his only interest was to promote animal defense, can you believe it? I’m sorry, but I won’t budge an inch. If there was other stuff to listen to, I’m glad. Of course, it frustrates me a bit to think that today, more or less, many of those non-mainstream things are available at FNAC, while the Skinnies are out of the Italian market. All the more reason for me to defend my choice. Regards.

Well, Kosmo, in the end you're not entirely wrong. The entire Skinny Puppy art is testosterone-fueled, overloaded, not free from superstructures. However, the musical expression itself has a value that can be fully appreciated regardless of all the aspects of the Canadians' poetics that might be bothersome.

But who the hell are the Cabs? Anyway, the dissertation on the origins of Industrial is idle: the whole world attributes paternity to the Throbbing. There are doubts about the blues, other doubts about country, about rockabilly, about dream-pop, about shoegaze... but when it comes to industrial, there are few doubts regarding paternity. It's possible that some other name might have produced something similar in an earlier epoch, but the Throbbing were the first significantly industrial manifestation. You say some nice inaccuracies about the Clock: the masterpiece "Buried Dreams," from 1989, is an incredibly industrial record, even if it’s not as expressionist as this work by Skinny. "Velvet Realm" is nothing short of epideictic. Of course, they always promoted a mélange of industrial impulses and a certain indulgence toward melodies that were first rock, then techno, but they certainly belong firmly in this genre.

Well, of course, the dominator won't come back, but you know that's not the point: the matter was, as I told you, that he could still win. And he did. And I also told you that the key moment would be the match with Djoko: winning that would have meant few difficulties, because as I pointed out to you, it was by no means certain that Nadal would make it to the final, and that's exactly what happened.

You got the attack wrong! I remember it from years ago! In any case, "Front by Front" is an amazing album, highly recommended, along with "State of Mind" by Front Line Assembly.
