Geenoo, don't be such a snob. "Cow and Chicken" has some historic moments. I've never seen a cartoon insist so comically on sexual ambiguity. Legendary.

As the elder above rightly says, the work has a seminal value above all, not as captivating as certain later journeys by Reich and Glass. It should therefore be attributed a primarily historical value and limited to a positive judgment. As for GiovanniA, I am open to a gay relationship before meals: if you’re free, let me know.

Grandioso Giovanni... an absolutely perfect choice as always and a proper tribute to a great author that too few know today. The album is legendary, which is why I expected the highest rating. "Towards the dream" recalls the soaring climaxes of the best Schulze, while "Circular Ceremony" sits exactly between Eno and Vangelis.

Ohhhh, sorry, my friend, but I hadn't noticed your message! So, among all the albums you mention, the only one I allow myself to reconsider is "Power, Corruption & Lies," which deserves at least half a point less in my opinion: good record, but the rating is actually too generous according to my scale of values. I stand by the 8 for Downward: I don't consider Reznor's artistic production to be excellent, just good. Too ostentatious and bleak, "pissed off" and indulgent to cacophony in a way that seems often gratuitous and self-satisfied to me. Good, but not excellent. The 8 for Pere Ubu is even too much. I see them as Scaruffian products, of notable quality, but elevated to myth for a series of speculations that go beyond objective quality. Just read Scaruffi's notes on Modern Dance to see the amount of exaggerations thrown around regarding the allusive references and the singer's vocal abilities (but which ones?). For the rest, I won't budge on Pink Floyd; I've said it a thousand times. Dark Side and Wish you Were Here suffer from popularity, but they are works that are practically unimaginable for the '70s, which often sound dated today. Those albums have unique arcs like The Great Gig in the Sky and Shine on You Crazy Diamond, deserving only to remain in the musical Olympus.

Don't worry, Nick, in fact I'm very glad to have learned that you're not a Know-it-all! Kudos!

Odra, you're a pain in the ass, but I have to admit you’re right! And I actually like your hierarchical values for once!
