All of this is very interesting, if it weren't for the fact that at this point you should explain to me what Draft 7.30 represents for you, if it itself is not a work that addresses electronics in its essence tout court, and therefore all your argument goes up in smoke in light of the fact that I think Untilted is nothing more than an absolutely useless offshoot of an album, Draft 7.30, which had already expressed the same discourse. Then I'd like to ask you how it is that, coincidentally, Autechre (whose Untilted was received terribly by almost all critics), after that album completely changed direction, producing a work, Quaristice, that is completely opposite to the previous one, fragmentary, indulgent towards harmony, eclectic. Perhaps because they probably no longer saw a way out of a discourse that had been going on for a decade and that could not be squeezed to the bone. Draft 7.30 had done its part and should have been left there, without clones: with Untilted, however, they persisted and they lost. Quaristice is the confirmation of that.

Yes, but the problem is that you called yourself Untilted, which, by coincidence, bears traces of Autechre. Now if you tell me that it was a coincidence for you to start with Autechre, fine, but next time, if you review all the Pan Sonic, you need to come up with a new nickname like "Kulma", or even worse, "Katodivaihecathodephase", or I will be forced to think that in the end, your dogma is Autechre. In short, the problem is that I really can't stand that record... couldn't you do a fake like "TriRepetae++"? There are also the "+", it sounds really cool and makes you a cooler element. Think about it.

But then in the review, I only used the word techno once, referring to the first album. Here there are just reminiscences, enough to warrant the little label (there’s also electroclash, indeed) among the genres, but you can't draw conclusions about how much techno there is or isn’t based on the genres included. If that had been the case, I would have put Porno-grind-core, but I noticed with my utmost dismay that it isn’t among the possible choices, so we’ll have to write to those dirty, bastard editors to make sure to include it next time.

Instead, I interpreted them, since among the reviews you've written, half consists of reviews of the most recent works by Autechre, of which I would perhaps save only LP5. You addressed the issue of easy tunes in a negative light in your first comment, whereas now you've downplayed it by talking about the interpretation of the tune, and from this perspective, I agree with you. The problem is just one: these tunes are not easy tunes by definition. Quality, ideas, personality are all things that may not be present in this work, but the issue is the assumption: if we are talking about easy tunes in this context, I can only imagine what truly mainstream music must be. So it seems more logical to question the interpretive choices than to identify genres and labels in a work that distances itself from a "casual" context like that proposed by the usual media currents inclined to showcase entirely different material of a different caliber.

There are levels and levels. Certainly, Untilted, if in some ways I have to interpret your nickname as a reference to your musical tastes, it's clear that this production can only make you think of easy listening (an album - mediocre in my opinion - like Untilted, along with the various Draft 7.30 and similar EPs by Autechre, certainly falls into a golden context against which this can only seem like a playful electroclash experiment). I absolutely cannot categorize the two "OniricAct" as easy listening, or we would have to postulate the existence of thousands of other groups making similar musical pieces, whereas in reality - especially in Italy - we know very well that easy listening is something else. Regarding the "techno" issue, I would say there’s only a minor component: this factor was never emphasized in the review concerning the album. In my opinion, your judgment is too harsh.
