Edoardo Bennato Non farti cadere le braccia
Voto:
Very good Joe, a review of Bennato was needed here on Debaser, to the point that I was even writing one myself. Bennato is someone who is not too well-liked by the die-hard fans of today's music, both because he is considered somewhat "uncommitted" and due to a certain -indirect- vocal style he has recently developed through the silly Tim advertisements that have earned him the unexpected title of teenage idol. I find him an honest and pleasant songwriter, capable of producing valuable works that clearly showcase his undeniable musical knowledge. Quiet album.
Morgan Non al denaro non all'amore né al cielo
Voto:
Of course, the fact that Morgan wanted to make a cover CD of a half-legend like De Andrè makes you think... I'll listen to it, it remains to be seen if and how much Morgan distances himself from the Genoese singer-songwriter. Anyway, the original has never really engaged me much.

Uhm, in my opinion, Zion, you're "promiscuous"; you're part of those derived classes stemming from intellectuals, metalheads, etc., a bit of everything. In fact, I’d add that, at first glance, it seems to me that a large part of the debaserioti is made up of promiscuous people because those who want to write reviews are generally people who are interested in music tout court, without being fixated on just one genre. A large part, huh? I’m not generalizing! Right, Kosmo, a very underground class... ;)

This is not a serious review, and as such, it makes generalizations that are, like all generalizations, rather approximate, albeit with a good kernel of truth. Giubbo, I'm ready to go to war, but come on, you need to read the review better because if and when I talked about "subgenres," I only mentioned it in relation to the three types of "intellectuals," never in any other context... with metalheads, we're moving into a different genreeeee! How should I make you understand this? Also, I stated from the outset that the ranking is based on "presumption," not on the objective beauty of the music played. Don't respond by saying that it's the review's fault for not being clear because that's not the case; the hierarchy is: intellectuals (with subclasses), common folks, metalheads (in the two subclasses), tunzettari. I don't dislike the tamarri; I'm just fascinated by how they manage to listen to the tun tunz, that's all ;)

P.S.: Hal, if you think I'm getting worked up, you're wrong! To prove it, when you feel that way, hit hard... you won't find peace ;)
