I do not agree with certain accusatory extremism (Bogus), just as I do not agree with certain defensive extremism (Kosmo, Alexander). Hal, we agree on the issue of mishmash, as I already mentioned, but I maintain that your defense of the album is exaggerated; Waters clearly prevails here, not just a simple "band author" as Zigghio claims: he is the "author" of the work - perhaps - up until "Animals" in '77: here it is solely the epic of the weaknesses of his life, and Gilmour has a good time humming something in "Hey You" that doesn’t belong to him. Zigghio, you are biased; you talk about Gilmour, but not about the missing Wright, who, in protest, doesn’t even play what he should. The era of "The Great Gig in The Sky" and "Sysyphus" is over... "The Wall," with its pros and cons, let’s not be extremists.

I strangely agree in part with Hal and Ezekiel: your review is certainly preferable to Charles's, definitely bolder, but it’s also true that there are some forced arguments. In my opinion, it’s an overrated album, but you are too extremist in your judgement; I might be wrong, but I have the vivid impression that your bitterness is simply dictated by a personal grudge against Waters’s castrating logorrhea: I agree with you, but to call it an "accozzaglia" is pushing it… at least retract to 2/5 ;)
