King Khan The Infinite Ones
Voto:
“Lost” like two of the three goals from Udinese-Panathinaikos by the legendary Alan Tonetti, but if for Psycho it’s one of the best of 2020, it definitely deserves a listen. Anyway, the artist's photo is more fake than Mariah Carey’s photoshopped images on her album covers over the last 20 years, since King Khan is a hulking figure with three minds and five bellies.

I'm listening and it really seems like one of your usual - excellent - proposals. ORB as if there were no tomorrow (there's also that typical self-ironic touch of theirs), but I can also sense some old Mouse on Mars and especially Burial. Still a listen to refine. Please, (re)send it in abundance.

I'm back to say that it's really a nice little record: it's always a shame that Aidan sometimes wastes time with that irritating recitative of his, but when he gets into crooning - so to speak - like in Here Comes Comus! it excites me like crazy and almost makes me forget his piercing prosopopoeia.
Angelo Badalamenti Twin Peaks: Limited Event Series Original Soundtrack
Voto:
Dear @[HOPELESS], the mechanism of your sneaky reviews is clear: you start from a negligible "of which" or something collateral to the underlying subtext, you bring the subtext into the foreground, and while cunningly deviating, you begin to talk about something entirely different in a vaguely refined and esoteric manner. Sneaky.

I devoured Twin Peaks seasons 1 and 2, along with the soundtrack that has resonated on my company cell phone for years, infusing the office atmosphere with an ethereal and occult scent (it was "The Nightingale" sung by Cruise). I still haven't found the courage to tackle the third season, being deeply attached to the lewd and ethereal Audrey of thirty years ago and terrified at the prospect of seeing her aged and furrowed like a seasoned matron who has nothing left to tell on screen. My heart wouldn't be able to take it.
Dmitri Shostakovich Quartetto n. 15, Op. 144
Voto:
"If on a winter's night a traveler" was one of the first "real" books I read in my youth: it was a trauma because that very Calvino, deeply postmodern and enamored with the stylistic exercises typical of metanarrative, was what I would ignore for years before discovering the wonderful readings of the "Tales" or the memorable Trilogy. I was so respectful of the narrative structure of the text that, exhausted by these continuous interrupted readings of the protagonist in the book, who at a certain point, grasping the situation, I closed the shutters and went to read Mickey Mouse (which was much more educational, in my view, at least back then).

And the mystery of faith lies precisely there, in the prologue which, frankly, dear @[Kyrielison], I believe adds nothing to the review. On the contrary, the ensuing text is so intense that I think it even detracts and seems, within the overall economy of the fantastic story of which you become the narrator, like one of those Calvinesque exercises of style that I would have preferred to be replaced by quite another production of the writer.

I know the essentials of Shostakovich, but given the noise made, it will be necessary to take a leap into this Quartet.

Are they still alive? I had left them back in the days of The Last Romance, which I liked a lot. Definitely worth a listen.
Il Festival di Sanremo Sanremo 2021:la bolgia umana va in vacanza a Santa Marinella
Voto:
I don't see what's so scandalous about going on vacation to Santa Marinella... or are you one of those who take the usual trip to Tunis, Cairo, Luxor...?

P.S. You're a piece of work. I'm giving you three stars because you can't trample punctuation like that in a full-blown mystic crisis of an incontinent writer. Now fix it all up and maybe I’ll give you half a point more. Come on.
