I mean, I don't agree, but frankly, we won't get anywhere if we start debating it. You're a real hothead, and I know well that often some considerations lead you to completely dismiss certain stuff that is often praised... I think the last time you told me how much you hated "Radioactivity" by Kraftwerk, and who knows how much other stuff you renounce to the core, stuff that in my opinion can be DIMENSIONED, but not renounced as you do so extremely. Okay with resizing Dark Side, Animals, etc., but to say that the PF will be seen again in "The Wall" is going too far, and I think this stems from your somewhat reactionary views on this or that stuff. As you know well, I'm much more moderate, so I make more gradual value scales where I certainly don't feel like crucifying PF's works just because they're considered inferior to works like Meddle, assuming that these previous works actually are. And in "Meddle" the PF weren't exactly praising drugs, eh... :)

Ah, yes, yes, damn, I had read about your thoughts among the comments on the Bogus review... oh, what nonsense :)

Me, and as a Sicilian mobster, I didn’t know anything about it? Alright, I’m from Catania, but I need to get informed... I’ll be back :)

Well, no, Garfunkel, like Pinotto, was an idiot.

In the end, the only thing that remains is "Great are the Pink Floyd!" :)

I talked about composition, not about performance... here, take the PF after Barrett: Waters, but especially Gilmour, Mason, and Wright when they performed were anything but unbalanced, if we really have to talk about live shows, and in their songs it seems to me there wasn't much hint of unhealthy stuff... so, here’s an easy comparison, let's see how you respond :D

Alright, damn, when it comes to talent we're on the same page, it’s just that it’s not necessarily true that in the '60s one could only write through drugs: drug use was trendy, but maybe there was clarity in the composition... and I can't help but wonder if you’re healthy :D

Well done Bogus, well done Odra, well done Arrigo Sacchi. For Strangler: yes, it’s a personal conception of genius: yet I would have the presumption to aspire it to an objective conception. In my opinion, it is right that those who anticipate the times are considered geniuses; your observation is valid, nothing to dispute.

Oh, little one, finally you're getting a bit mad at me too... yes, yes, I wanted this moment! :) So, I haven't seen the divviddì, but I promise to do so, however what I wanted to say is that in my view the concept of sanity isn't the one you consider, although it's still valid: for me it's not about knowing how to tie your shoes, but about being free from drugs and acid, or even better, not writing and reasoning through psychedelic flashes... andeeeeh, what does it matter if everyone is on drugs? That's normality, but not sanity, and then there's a difference between getting high and getting high and claiming you compose under the effects of drugs! Anyway, in the end it's the usual question of definitions: to me, Syd was anything but sane in PIPER, he wasn't crazy but already unbalanced; then what you say about post-Piper is true: he completely lost it, but he had already prepared the territory :)
