Franco Battiato L'Ombrello e la Macchina da Cucire
Voto:
A most respectable vision of one of Franco's most complex works, a vision that, in my view, is more than realistic. It is indeed a factual work and at times exasperating, deliberately cryptic, and not always credible (it seems that Sgalambro is the one speaking, and Battiato is merely an interpreter): it does not deserve the label of "well-crafted nothing," but certainly it is not among the most convincing. It is the beginning of a collaboration that sees two irreconcilable philosophical souls in opposition: Sgalambro's nihilism and Battiato's spiritualism. It is symptomatic that the result is at least not homogeneous. With "L'imboscata," the duo will be matured and will produce an ensemble of sure impact; for now, there are many unknowns. That said, the Umbrella is a piece of extraordinary radical and emotional impact, that Fornicazione is of great depth, and that Gesualdo da Venosa is at least musically one of Battiato's greatest pieces. It’s a shame about the ending, which is a bit too extreme, Saltuario.

Well guys, now we’ve finished the game, let's wait for someone to change the vote for metallarobionico. Sure, though, I don't like deus, I prefer faust'o. Bye bye enex.

Alright, let's wait for action. Taking away the vote, if the average is 5.00, josiz is right; otherwise, we need to add another fifteen 5s. If then the average in that case is 4.99, we'll throw a bisexual party at Iside's place.

Let's at least get to those 183 votes.

Nah, Josué, I don't think so. Anyway, did you understand the syllogism? At 182 you're at 4.9945 approximated to 4.995... but I think he reads it as 4.99. Then I don't know.

No, Nickke, at least you built a very cool drug story around it. What about Jim? Tomorrow I’ll take the nickname "GianlucaVialli."

...and to do this, we need about 200 votes!
